Yeah that's the only thing I don't like about the Garrett is it that it detects all the way up to the switch so if you're laying the pin pointer flat it detects way behind where you think the target is👍✌️🤙🤠👊
they changed it do to issues connecting it to the detector , so on a later stage in time they changed the disign a bit at the same time as they sorted the connection issues . although the issues are still there , just changed . earlyer it could take 10sec++ before it connected . the new one just dosent connect if it dosent happend straight away .
This connectivity issue does still exist, that is why I do not pair Mi6 to my Deus detectors. The pinpointer volume is too loud when it comes from the remote, a pinpointer volume control for the remote speaker would be great. But mostly it is the pinpointer taking forever to connect or not connecting at all. I have tried a few Mi6's also. I need a pinpointer to be working the instant I push the button.
I used the TRX for years. It was unreal for depth, but the TrX's were not very durable, I would be lucky if I would get 1 year of use from them. I would surely buy one if Garrett would make them. I have a big pile of broken TRX's
I have fisher 30 40 minelab mi4 mi6 some gifts if I had to spend my cash it was free lol keno paid for most I love the free stuff . 95%I hunt beach 🏖 gold fields never use a pinpointer parks found the 30 minelab brilliant 40 still in box garrett yep still new venor looks like a garrett china knock off I think bloody good. Fisher pulse not bad but again parks and 85 most are surface finds trx still a go had it 5 years sat in a box for 12 months.

The XP pinpointers have been very good for me. I think a pinpointer should only pinpoint on the tip. That is why it is called a pin...pointer!!

Whites TRX HAD A MAGIC RUN WITH IT GOOD FOR 4INS DEPTH AND TAKES AA OR 9V.😂.
