    I had a stretch there where I kept dropping my rods on the hookset. Weirdest thing not a problem since

    Swear I thought this was a bill dance bloopers act video.. I couldn't stop laughing between the hands on your hips watching another boat land a fish in amazement to the rod flying out tour hands then the trolling motor cable all within a minute of each other.. 🤣

    You are going to love smallmouth fishing. I love going up north to catch brownies.

    Good job. When you know you have to catch them early and it will be tough after 0900 you might want to not waist time weighing them until after you get your five. Every minute matters when the bite window is so short.

    Good video. Yeah I noticed your new independent live scope transducer set up. I believe someone else noticed it in your comments on here. Hey you had a really good showing and yes I believe we'll see you in some toyota events. Good luck next time on the water.

    Always love your videos and congrats of fishing with the stars! Is your forward facing sonar moving independent from your trolling motor, and if so what is it?

      The White Ninja!!!! Man I feel special getting a comment from you. You’ve helped me a time or two with your videos. 😃 I installed a Rite Hite Turret and really helped me stay on target offshore in the wind. I recommend it.

    On that one bed fish that you blew up on it and didn’t get it, did you ever follow up with a jig or a soft plastic to see if she would eat it ?
    Also proud of ya for not exploiting your co’s spots.

      No. I never did follow up with something else. Should have tossed the senko in their after I missed it.

    I am curious to know what or who put you on to the rite hite turret

    • @JeffreyDavisFishing
      @JeffreyDavisFishing  2 роки тому

      Well I have just done a lot of research lately on independent live scope mounts since I use it so much. But when in spot lock mode it’s very difficult to stay on target with it mounted to the trolling motor. I found several options but the rite Hite Turret appeared to be the best and most effective option. As I’ve mentioned…. It’s great when spot locking in windy conditions.

    Hey Jeff totally different subject but I want to install a ultrex 24v 80lb thrust trolling motor. Will two 50ah ionic batteries last me all day on the water? Thanks for all the videos and good luck in upcoming events!

    The fact you don’t provide a net for you Co’s, regardless of your opinion of them for your use, baffles me. If he would’ve lost that 4lber, that fish loss is totally on you. Out of that 200+ boat field, I can almost guarantee you were the only boat without a net. Silly.
    I enjoy your content; I’m not being a hater. Just encouraging you to think of others that fish with you.

      I wish I had a little better footage of the guy in front of me in one of the clips who didn’t have a net either. A lot of guys don’t use nets. In fact several have commented on past videos. It you do a search on here for other Toyota series videos you’ll see more don’t use a net than do. Appreciate you watching. 👍🏻

    • @ericr1623
      @ericr1623 2 роки тому

      @@glenndaugherity6187 it doesnt matter how many eric hawks has fished. He was just making the point its silly not to use it. He doesnt use a net in the bfls either. Im not being a hater at all myself either. Love the videos. But it is silly not to use a net when fishing for that much money. Watch any of the flw pro circuit tournaments, they all use a net because they can.

    • @JeffreyDavisFishing

      Fellas it’s just a personal preference I have to not use a net or have one in the boat. That’s all. Nothing more. Nothing less. This topic has come up so much I feel like I need to make a video just on this topic to discuss it. Maybe soon I will. I really do appreciate your comments on the subject. But my answer to each of the comments like this will always be the same…. It’s just my preference not to use a net.
