Right on X Swamp, what a great man. I met him at the Phoenix race in 1999 and been a fan ever since. Great music too.

I never could figure out where he stored his balls. I mean, his balls were so freaking huge, how did he walk?! One time I watched his boat completely out of the water, pointing at a 45 degree angle towards the stands and he just kept his foot in it, the boat snapped left and right before finally hooking up, and it worked! MASSIVE balls! He is what you call the TRUE AMERICAN BADASS! RIP Mr Braaksma. You certainly cemented a huge place in my memory! A million people enjoyed watching you do your thing.

I'm just now learning that he passed away.
    I'm shocked....
Ron braaksma was like a superhero to me when I was a kid....
I remember traveling with my family to go to the drag boat races all over the United States.
One of our favorite trips was to red bluff.
I always loved watching Ron braaksma drive madness.
Clinton Anderson.... And Denver Mullins were also some of my favorite racers.
My best regards and sincere condolences go out to the families.
May they all rest in peace
