Many years ago I drove an SK drag boat with 650 HP and a Casell v-Drive, and it went 120 mph, and I thought that was fast. These things are actually low-flying aircraft.
Videos don't do these boats Justice. You need to see in person how fast it really is. My boat ran 121.6 mph and getting a big upgrade in power and will run in the 130's. That is freaking fast . I can't imagine the feeling of driving something twice as fast .
Besides the boat was running lie he left the choke on...is it just me or were those spectators not sitting in an ideal viewing area?.. I mean we've all seen them boats get airborne ..idk just looks sketch.
Again people too close to the action, my cousin worked at Irvine lake when that little girl eating a hot dog was cut in half by that pickled fork drag boat , infact his hands had her blood on them when he helped move the boat, GOD BLESS HER AND HER FAMILY for this terrible tragedy people need to be far enough away , remember that air tragedy in reno a few years back again way too close to the action
Why did you start out saying “again?” How far away and how high up do I have to be before I need binoculars? That sounds like a horrible thing that happened to that girl but unfortunately, bad things can happen in racing. And no, I don’t know what happened in Reno?? But I’m sure you’ll tell me
@@christopherH402 ( again) because people are too close to the action and end up being injured or killed , look up the galloping ghost p 51 airplane crash in reno , I want us all to have fun without being killed or injured , to many times I see people being injured and killed when it didn't have to happen , and all im saying is move back a lil farther
To be fair I timed the run at 4.3 seconds, and if the speed was 260mph, the total distance would have to be around 500 metres (0.3 miles) which does seem about right, so they probably are that fast. Not sure why I went to that effort to find out lol

I do that with my trolling motor ,hooked to 64 batteries
