Kass's quiet "it's an older jury" kills me every time
okay but Kass as ponderosa's mayor was a serve
She looked so excited to be running the show there especially since she was only at Ponderosa in Cagayan for like a split second before the final jury votes.
Watching Savage on Ponderosa felt like someone going through a mid life crisis trying to cling to youth and bitter at other people that it's long gone.
Watching Savage on all of Cambodia felt like that to be honest
Do middle aged men not usually talk about their super hot wife while wearing a beanie and a unbuttoned hawaiian shirt?
We can all thank Lillian Morris for traumatizing him the way she did 😆😆😆
I was just coming to say he comes across that way lol
Lol I always really liked Savage. On both of his seasons he was a hilarious presentation of a Super Man who doesn't realize he's actually a Charlie Brown, and can't figure out why he keeps missing the ball.
I’ve never heard such a weird analogy but it fits perfectly 😂
I feel like a lot of people fail to appreciate characters like this. It's why I love Dan Foley, he thought he was going to be a lovable goofball but instead he's just an asshole, and that's what makes it funny!
I find him fun to watch
@@Captain-Sum.Ting-Wong Exactly. Now everybody has to be sweet and woke for the cameras and there are no characters left.
@@Captain-Sum.Ting-Wong I love to hate Dan hahaha
The most cringe thing about Savage is his over the top bromance with Joe and his (mostly) one-sided feud with Stephen. He called Fischbach's scheming and plotting "disgusting" when he himself has no qualms with doing the same thing.
I appreciate in the real world that Stephen and Savage have come together to acknowledge just how far off his rocker Joe has gone. I remember the interaction on social media where Savage told Stephen like “I wish I knew who Joe really was back then. I definitely would have worked with you to get him out.”
@@NDeezy Yeah, I can buy that, it's just none of them knew what kind of person Joe turned out to be. I remember Ron Clark praising Joe on RHAP right before we knew about Joe. He knew what Joe said that season and still praised him.
@@giovanniorellana2200 what happened to Joe? What dod he say that season?
@@user-fo6kp6nt5bJoe was heavily associated with Qanon and the alt-right. He also said the n-word twice during EoE, but the producers didn’t show it. Eager turtle’s other channel has a video about it
@@Lizzy-yl4un do you have a link to the video?
'Hostile territory sis.' lmao I love Kass. I feel like she'd be much more appreciated on a current season.
She’s very well appreciated nowadays, especially on survivor forums online or reddit. She’s one of everyone’s favorites !
I will never forget how much I hated Kass when I was younger and started getting into survivor. Watching her on Cagayan made me so angry and the fact that she genuinely believed she could win made her even more annoying in my eyes. Now that I'm older I realize how iconic she is and I hope to God she comes back
Whenever the next returnee season is she is definitely getting a call. Fans love her, she loves the fans and the show. Plus I think Jeff and production are big Kass fans
@@benschroeder8773nasty jeff only wants post WaW returnees now. No one from 1-40 is allowed.
@@spacecadet2172damn, I thought it was only seasons 1-20.
Well I mean, I was gonna say Eliza right of the bat, cause we all know her reactions are iconic, but this ponderosa edit was pure gold! Lol!
It really should be Eliza, she just seems like a wonderful and entertaining person both on and off the show. Highly recommend following her on Instagram if you don’t already!
I just wish turtle included the “43 hours later” establishing shot where before the next tribal council he and cass were best friends. That was a sweet moment in between all of his antics
ew,
Savage’s hat has to be up there with Ozzy’s poncho in terms of most memorable jury fashion.
Savage is so egoistic lol
*iconic
@@HopeAndrea_HFG iconically egoistic
nightmare blunt rotation
Lol ikr
I actually cackled at this one
Savage embodies what I hated about the classic era. People with their heads up their own butts loving the smell of their own farts. They felt entitled to win because they were accustomed to deference in every day life and get mad that other players don’t bow to them.
And that's why I love him! You're supposed to laugh at him.
@captainsumtingwong3349 he's such a pretentious, oblivious, hypocritical, self-serious, whiney douchebag who completely lacks self-awareness.
And I wouldn't want it any other way! What a gem
Its good have to ego though. Strong men have strong mind. In real life who's winning? Savage.
It was deeply amazing hearing abi-Maria describe someone as an a-hole and an instigator. A 10/10 moment hands down
Abi has the weird talent of not being socially self aware, but very observant and straight to the point of how other people act and socially interact.
@@AGJ117 I’ve interacted with her on social media a few times and seen her in interviews, she’s a very intelligent and engaging person; also a very good writer (she’s written essays on Medium about moving to the US from Brazil and living the American dream). Something just happens to her when she plays survivor (she’s said it herself, despite her efforts to change the Brazilian dragon still wakes up) she reverts to some really nasty and vindictive style of behavior. Everyone reacts to the elements out there differently, we are lucky to have the luxury to comment from home :)
@@kingofthorns203 List of players who are nice and chill people in real life but just snap into gamemode when they play Survivor:
- Boston Rob
- Abi-Maria
- J'Tia apparently?
- Kass

@@Ramboost007 these are some of my all time favs :)
basically everyone whos played with abi has said that she is dreadful to play survivor with, but incredibly nice and easy to hang out with outside of survivor.its wild
Omg I forgot how big of a man child he was. 😂
Truth
i actually like cass as a character
Kass is an incredible character.
I was gonna say Courtney is the most iconic but savage is like a more bitter more self unaware Courtney 😭
It’s a shame Courtney and Savage never played together. I just know she would tear him to shreds
Erik Cardona is a criminally underrated juror
lmao hello fellow kids sums up Savage's attire to a tee
People say the worst part about savage is his arrogance in reality it's his choice in clothes
Kass queen wants to bring him some fun
I always remember something Twila said in Vanuatu that cut deep “People kill for less money than we’re playing for”
I'm glad Parvati found Survivor. She could have been a real-life menace instead she is a life coach.
I'm so glad Second Chances gave us the twisting relationship of Andrew Savage and Chaos Kass. It feels like a mad libs pairing of Survivor's best lawyers, but by the votes they came together and it's glorious.
I love when they are fighting and Abi says “oh wow so you guys really are married!” 🤣🤣🤣
I loved the scene where Kass tells Andrew she had a crush on him when she was in law school and watched him on Pearl islands
name a worse dressed juror i'll wait
Eric Edge of Extinction
Eddie’s outfit at the ftc of Caramoan is a standout of awful
@@helpmejanice8123 why did he never clean himself up? That was crazy!
@@kingofthorns203 yeah idk
Some soyboy wore a shirt that said "feminism" at FTC in 42.
This Ponderosa being the reason I *actually* really like Kass
he's so hypocritical. He gets angry and swears when people outplay him in the game and calls them despicable for being strategic and making moves. Never bring this guy back on Survivor
That's what makes him funny and interesting. Hypocrites and assholes are what make Survivor entertaining.
Especially considering how he and Tasha blindsided PG earlier in this season
Savage and Wiggles are old-school players and it definitely shows here. New-school players can properly chill-out when they get to Ponderosa because they have an easier time accepting the fact that Survivor is just a game of lying/manipulation and you have to do it no matter what in order to win. Such gameplay was viewed as a way to get a jury to hate you back in S1 and S7 and hardly anyone did it to members of their alliance. If you were on the bad end of a vote, being salty was probably the default reaction everyone had back in the day. But due to no Ponderosa videos during the time, we didn't get to see how everyone felt after getting voted out.
Even though I'd argue that there were just as big of liars in the early seasons Survivor wasn't really known as a game of manipulation, so it was much more personal. That is why I consider Parvati a true game changer because she made it respectable to play Survivor ruthlessly. However even she would tell you the reason she was so good was because there was more weight behind the things that she did. Now all the gamebots want to copy her these days but don't realize that Parvati did stay loyal to certain people that helped her game. She didn't just blindside people for the views like a lot of the newer players are doing these days.
So what you’re saying is old school Survivor was more entertaining?
@@a.jdeets5527based
He dresses as the ultimate Gen X stereotype.
He is literally embarrassing lmao
This was the compilation I didn’t know I needed.
Those jury outfits though 😆😆😆
Man I wish they filmed the pre jury trip in Pearl Islands.
"Maybe he has an allergy we are unaware of" - HAHA Kass' comments are golden.
I think he is one of my most hated players because of his bitterness. He was just mad at losing like 17 other people didn’t also get voted out. Then having the audacity to call out Jeremy/Spencer for “arrogance” was hilarious.
Lol he and cass really are a married couple 😂
This edit was amazing. I would love to see more content like this.
Funny how out of all people he didn't lash out at Fishbach.
What I loved is Fishbach had this unrequited rivalry with Joe but little did he know Savage also had an unrequited rivalry with him.
Holy shit the Gangster's Paradise and Remember The Name bits were editing genius 🤘
Very interesting the Savage you see in the edited show we see versus his authentic self in Ponderosa
Got some friends into Survivor watching Pearl Islands, and one of them (in my eyes, inexplicably) really likes Savage. I think it has to do with kind of what Kass was saying at the end of the clip, and his honour-bound, underdog leadership. Can't wait until we have a few more seasons under our belt and I can show them Cambodia, and definitely this video too, and see how her opinion of him wavers. I'm interested to see if it will at all, because I've criticised her for it in the past and she only seems to dig her heels in deeper.
Sorry about that blindside homie 😂
I know a lot of ppl don’t like the guy but I think he’s hilarious. I still say “wimpy non-leader” sometimes😆
Second chance is a great season, but its ponderosa is definitely on another level.
The music almost killed me 🤣
lmao Eager Turtle doing the lord's work
Kass wasnt even cutthroat in this season, grow up y'all
Savage is absolutely a brilliant character and was always a good character! He adapted well in second chance and just got idoled out. I wanna see him play again maybe in a legends or a last chance season
I love eager turtle productions..
Savage is probably one of the few old schoolers that did fairly well in the modern game. Plus he dominated the screen time during his run on Cambodia and was a very entertaining villain. Would love to have him back a third time.
I think he's overrated. He's trying to play the Tom Westman/Boston Rob game, but his social game needs improvement.
Same, I think he’d add an entertaining element
Too white. He won't be back
He really didn’t do that well though. He placed 12/20 worse than his first time out. I also don’t think he takes control of Angkor without Tasha.
Production clearly made the merge at 13 to save his ass.
hes a disaster i love him
right like i can fix him
i Don't care what anyone says, I love watching Andrew Savage anytime he's on screen lmao.
He’s a lawyer he should be able to dress better
He’s one of the only contestants I can think of who looks better fashion wise in the survivor rags LOL
literally kass, savage was just salty
Abi ciera and Wentworth I'd be in heaven
Savage is the quintessential "turd in the punchbowl" Survivor player.
You can multiply 10x all Savage 30% the total would be his ego!
What a baby..
Remember the name edit was funny after ngl
He needs to honestly get over himself, what an ego. And to think he wouldn’t have even made it on the season had Mike not won the season
Savage is kinda fine
Kass and Savage strike me as an old bitter married couple. I kidna think they both secretly love their reationship.
oh lord.... i hate this man since pearl island and this prove me even more why
Imagine being this pretentious 🙄
And he’s completely unaware of it too. He reminds me of Mick from Samoa and Angelina but older.
I can name two more iconic ones, Eliza and Courtney
This was fantastic. In Savages defense, I would not have handled being on Pondarosa with Kass any better than he did.
Also, my god Abi Maria is so pretty. And her having to sit between Kass and Savage is AWKWARD
Where do i watch the vids abt jury members once they are voted out?
has there ever been an explanation of the hat he wears at tribal? Was that his hat or did production give that to him?
I think it's his. They wear their own clothes at Ponderosa (but production may have had to approve it)
@@user-fo6kp6nt5b if production approved it, then I ironically love it that much more
I cannot stand Abi or Ciera but, GOD Savage is such a baby. Just being so passive aggressive when the game is already over. I especially do not understand his resentment towards Kass when she left the game before him.
Can yoiu make another one?
i like both these contestants but its weird to me that people dont think that cass is being annoying in these clips
Savage is a liberal, so it makes sense why he’s acting childish.
Lmaooooooo. You're one of those
