What annoys me about people like this, is that they act as if they know watch brands so well and that theyre master negotiators but in reality NO respectable swiss watch company will sell you 2 watches for the price of one, it's longinges not Invicta
Also if they even do give a discount, very rarely does it go above 20%😊

@@JtroOverflow the edit seems to suggest that he tried to get two for one. but that's so non-sensical, it can't be right. i assume that he wanted a bigger discount (e.g. 20% instead of 10%) for getting two.
@@JtroOverflowif you actually watch the video, they explained everything. They all had a budget of $xxxx and had a goal of finding the best thing. He was trying to get the AD to sell him both for $5k, not 2 for 1.

That bronze Legend Diver has me hooked... not typically a fan of bronze, but that one pushes all the right buttons for me. Just the one watch... why complicate things!? Buy one, walk away; let it settle...

As a scuba diver i will never understand dive watches, whats the point we all use dive computers anyways no ones diving in their rolex but maybe im missing the point behind a dive watch
Rolex are for people pretending to dive.
you are. some just like the dive watch aesthetic. some like a watch that's overqualified for dish duty, rain, or surface swimming. some dive with their dive watches.
Before there were dive computers, dive watches were essential. Also, Rolex's were much cheaper back in the day even when adjusting for inflation.

I love my Legend Diver, but it annoys me that they have Seiko syndrome: the hour markers don’t line up with the markers on the rotation bezel. Haven’t seen one that didn’t have that
It's amazing how all the luxury watch brands make specific watches for divers, but none of the divers can afford them😂
oh you'd be surprised. I've seen divers in all sorts of places wearing luxury dive watches from Malta, Singapore, Australia, Florida USA, Sweden etc. Trust me, there are plenty

good moves, these rubbish luxury watches are just for walking around the shop and trying out.
This comes across as an advertisement for long ones that actually has no real content. Goes into the movement yet doesn’t explain its history at all. Talking to the dealer about what mate? Getting the 2 watches for the price of 1.
it has a really interesting history. just take his word for it. i've heard that the movement itself is also really interesting.
No he wasn't trying to get 2 for 1, dummy. They had a budget of $5k and he tried to negotiate an Ultrachron + legend diver INSTEAD of the Ultrachron + hydro conquest. Did you not hear the beginning of this clip where he says "...I could also afford a hydroconquest with it..."

“Dive watches” the SUV of the watch world. The only off roading 99% of SUV’s see is when the owner accidentally steers a tire onto their front lawn. And the only diving these watches ever see is none.
I love how these people that have so much money don't know what to buy any longer so instead they buy watches that are built for certain activities and they have no intention of diving. Like isn't that weird ?
