- This video is to show you how I installed the oil cooler in my Altezza drift car.
Not to brag but I think this is the best install I have seen in an Altezza.
The links I used for inspiration.

That's some quality mill work with what, a drill, a file and a vise? 👍
Thank you very much. Geez I'd love to buy a mill. And a lathe for that matter... Dreams are free. 😂
One thing your videos have taught me is that I really need a vise again.
I've used mine so much on the right side that its actually twisted. It won't clamp straight. I don't think there is a way to fix it either.
Will buy another one, one-day. Current one is from Astro- products. Next one will either be Astro products again or something from Amazon
"Brackets on brackets on brackets." 🎤 🎶🎵
I love to see the day change to night as the project moves along haha. Strong work. I enjoy watching this build progress.
Well you'll love the next video then.
"What really happened"😭
@@GarageKei I saw there’s a cappuccino meet at Nikko circuit this weekend. Any chance you’ll attend to get us a peek at the action? 😬
I thought about it... Not sure.
Gotta love some hot bracketry
Wait until you see the next video. 🤣
Great stuff !
Thanks
Good job !
Thanks!
You should have flipped the cooler flow. Bottom should be return, top feed. Will flow better.
There was a reason I didn't do that. I can't remember what it was. 😂
Is flow really what you want? Seems to make sense that the oil stays in the cooler longer to cool down more.
Thanks for the input. When the lines leak maybe I'll switch it and see what difference it makes.
@@GarageKei Well you gotta figure ALL oil is coming through that cooler, you don't want a restriction that would cause oil pressure to drop. Thats my theory anyway.
Air might be easier to get out the other way...?
Thinking about Air... That will always try to get out the top (unless you hydraulically push it) so wouldn't you wanna fill it from the bottom so the air can escape out the top easier?
Air won't want to go out the bottom so the air trying to get out while you're feeding oil in the top would be a bigger restriction don't you think?
What is the restriction you're actually worried about if filling from the bottom? Gravity? The oil pump is pushing it and it has to be pushed vertically inside the engine so gravity doesn't seem to be a problem...
The OEM oil pressure gauge is showing the same as I got when the cooler was in the previous position.
I don't know if it would make a difference flipped or not... It is an interesting point of view though.
Man, your Japanese sounds very good 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the Super Thanks!!!! 🙏🙏🙏
@@GarageKei for 🍺
Thanks 🍺🍺🍺
