- The White House confirmed Russia is believed to be developing an anti-satellite space weapon, but couldn't confirm whether it is nuclear. On "Cuomo," retired Gen. Wesley Clark says these types of weapons are "first strike weapons" designed to disarm domestic nuclear attack deterrents and disrupt electronics on the ground, which would "destroy the living standard of American people."

Russia has a right to defend its boarders and its territories anyhow they want. We encourage the Russians to press on, space does not belong to the US or the west. The US has space command and have assets up in the skies, we did not hear any opposition when this was done. If I was Russian, I would say, "lets us use what we have to defend our motherland" regardless of what it is.
Rossia is doing more than defending itself by invading Ukraine in 2014.

I am Russian and with respect to you, I allow myself to add that Russia is FORCED to develop this type of weapon, since the US has actually already deployed attack weapons in space. And secondly, such weapons (about which there is so much talk now) have not yet been created in Russia. Thus, it turns out that the United States is very concerned that Russia, in principle, is going to defend itself from the United States. That is, US politicians are so arrogant that they deny other nations the right to self-defense? Such a game cannot be played, dear sirs.
USA has broken the agreement to not weaponize space. USA has placed hundreds of small spy satellites in space and are using them to fix targets for Ukraine conflict. Russia is developing a counter mechanism which will help us all. What is wrong with peace?

Recently we could see the "quality" of USA´s weapons in counterofensive in Ukraine. The only things which are remarkable about those guns are the PRICE and the SPEED in which these are being wiped out... Russian weapons are superior at all levels. The mere fact that the Russians have managed to bring several hypersonic missiles into use (!) within a few years and the Americans, in contrast, have not been able to do so for 10 years, shows the enormous difference. USA only has the most expensive military in the world, while Russia has the strongest army in the world and the most experienced army in the world.. BTW, who wants to be helping to a country(Ukraine) which kept killing civilians(russian language speakers) since 2014 ? It is like someone would start helping to a man who attacked another man....( Russia is helping to civilians in Donbas since those civilians were killed by thousands since 2014) What is the point here?
