Prayer is the weapon of christians and not gun or violence. It is an integral part of christian society. No man has ever prayed and cried out so much as the man of God, David. His psalms are full of crying out and praying to God. God delivered him out of all his trouble. Surprisingly, God called him a man after His own heart. So, if anyone does not cry out and pray, no revival can be expected, no healing from sickness and disease, no deliverance from sins and wickedness, no freedom from distress and worries.
In the old and new testament we read how men of God have cried out and prayed and how their prayers were answered.
1: Elijah cried out and God brought to life a dead child 1st Kings 17:20-22
2: Jehoshaphat cried out and God added fifteen years to his life 1st Chr 18:31
3: Hezekiah cried out and God gave him victory over his enemies 1st Chr 32:20-21
4:Jesus' disciples cried out to Him in a storm and Jesus calmed the storm Luke 8:23-24
5: Blind Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus and He restored his sight Mark10:46
6: How people of Israel cried out for deliverance from their slavery, God set them free.
