This version is so good and really highlights why I don't like a lot of the covers of this song. This version highlights how dark, clumsy and dissonant this song is supposed to be. The arrangement, not just the lyrics, help tell the story and set the mood. Every cover I have heard of this song has been so clean and traditional despite the song being anything but. The song should invoke feelings of some sweaty old run down jazz bar in the American south not a recording booth
