Only Fools and Horses Convention 2023 featuring Sir David Jason on stage Q & A

Only Fools and Horses Convention 2023 with Sir David Jason took place recently and I was very lucky to be able to get hold of a ticket. Most had sold out within minutes.
A pukka event celebrating one of Britain's best loved comedies which is still as popular today as when it was first broadcast in 1981. In the lovely jubbly setting of MK Doubletree Hilton Hotel fans were able to meet Sir David Jason and have their photo taken sitting with him in the Trotter flat.Later he talked on stage about his time working on the show in some of the most memorable episodes and this features in the second half of the film.
There were other actors in attendance who had appeared in the show and you were able to meet them and obtain autographs.
Authentic props and costumes were on display that had been used in the making of the show and there were a number of stalls where you could buy merchandise not all of it from Del's suitcase.
There was a even a new TV statellite brought in especially from Gatwick.
There was also a CosPlay character competition running throughout the event with fans encouraged to dress up as their favourite character from the show with a Trotter van door personally signed by Sir David Jason as the prize. We were all well looked after by some lovely ladies with refreshments as well.
A great atmosphere throughout with some lovely guests. I am sure if you went you will agree it was most enjoyable and many of you I know can't wait for next year.
A huge thank you must go to the organisers for all their hard work in putting this on for us all.

So fingers crossed this promises to be another cracking event.
