My 180k 2.0crdi 2005 is still running like a new one :) I rlly recomend this car to ppl who need 4x4 car like hunters etc. this car is comfy for tall guys too, i'm (195cm or 6.2/ - 6/3 ) ;p even the less powered version of 2.0crdi is still good.

i just test drove a 2007 tucson crdi diesel engin suv the other day and the engine sounded the same as this one.. very loud.. is that normal for diesel engines? im driving a CRV right now with 46,000km now but the engine is quiet and a gas engine.. before i make the switch i wanted to know if this is normal for crdi engines to be loud? thank you great review
Is it true that the maintanance of hyundai is not that expensive and parts are easy to find ? I am planning to buy hyundai accent for my second car because of its diesel engine.
No, hyundai used parts are somewhat expensive and slow. American cars are usually the cheapest and european the most expensive to fix. If you are looking for easy parts buy a Corolla or Camry tons of parts everywhere for just about every single age. Hyundai's are okay if you can find a low mileage one then they are okay but still Toyota is probably the most solid hands down.
