For android since, adoption of versions is slower Certificate pinning can be problematic. It's suggested to use Certificate Transparency(CT) instead. However there could be some delay in the initial connection establishment with CT.

Yeah. Pinning is definitely more complicated by slow adoption of new versions. I haven't come across Certificate Transparency before. I'll have to look into that.
