I grew up competitive dancing and thank GOD my mom was sane and didn’t pull this shit. But man there’s some crazy dance moms out there I feel so bad for their kids

This reminds me of competitive cheer. Some of the moms of the cheerleaders on my team were insane. My coach grabbed me by my neck and slammed me against the wall for not completing a tumbling pass because I had bad asthma. I was petrified. My dad went tf off on him and he never touched me again. I decided to start diving afterwards and my dive coach was incredible.

I love seeing people get so surprised at dance moms, I danced for a long ass time (started at 3 quit at 13 cause of school) and i had a teacher for jazz who was always yelling like hell at us. But tbh the moms are worse than the teachers and students combined, their projection and failed dreams as well as their competitiveness makes it so pass aggressive to even talk to them
