Facom 500A Locking Pliers Review

- I recently purchased this pair of Facom 500A self locking pliers with a little spare money I had kicking about, but first I had to get the idea past Mrs Rathbone!! She wouldn't let me have a pair of Knipex Cobra XXL water pump pliers though😳
I really like the design and style of these pliers and I found a similar, but older, set at the car boot sale (Flea market) earlier this year but failed to pick them up twice. If I see them again I will certainly be purchasing them.
These are slip-joint self locking pliers and can be quickly adjusted to suit any job, the pliers also have a micro adjustment thumbwheel for a perfect fit.

Ive never seen this design locking pliers before! I like them. I’m going to show you a pair that I have that are from Irwin that remind me of the skull of a whale
Thanks for the review. Most tools I've had like that with lot of adjustments don't seem to hold up over time. They look handy but the one item that may be a problem is the release. It seems that it would be easy to accidently bump it while using and lose your grip. . Price is $ 47 US which is a bit high. Thanks again for review.

When these pliers are locked onto and object they need a deliberate squeeze of the handles before the release trigger can be operated.
That's a nifty design!

9:20 Slip it back to the narrower position so the contact point will be further in on the lower jaw. So you can get better bite and better lever distance.
