Perch fishing with the Savage Gear Cannibal Shad - Huge unexpected catch!

- All focus was on the Perch in this session with the plan of attack to cover ground and find the shoals!
This was also a good opportunity to test the new Raymarine Axiom Pro 2!
While we didn't target Pike they were really active and took a liking the the small Perch Lures with 9 fish landed and one proper unit caught on the dropshot!

I got my fermanagh fishing trip last week. Avoided the big lough as it was very sunny and calm. Fished two smaller loughs and had lots of roach small hybrid one perch and a very nice tench. Cant wait to return next month.
Sounds like you had a decent session, it's been hard enough work these last few trips
@@castnorthangling5964 I was told not to bother with the tench lake as it had not been fishing too well but I persevered and caught a good one and lost a good one. There were literally tench tolling everywhere at dusk but only the one caught and my friend blanked. The other lough was full of silvers one a chuck 👍

@@castnorthangling5964 Definitely! I was not fishing the lough close to town. I will try another different tench lough next time I am over that only seems to fish once it warms up as it is very shallow. Tight lines and look forward to the tench video

Nice video lad.. what leader u use for perch and how u tie with the braid? Fish a lake full of perch but never have any luck
I used the Savage Gear fluorocarbon 7.4lb and just tie it with a uni to uni knott.
