I can remember that selling really well in the shops. The original came with a booklet from the movie if I remember correctly. I am not a huge fan of official studio produced live albums. But this is a great one. Well done~ Rob/Boston
You are correct Rob....mine does not have that booklet unfortunately. It was a huge deal I remember as well.......I had just turned 17 and loved everything about it.
Stop Making Sense is, in my opinion, one of the very best live recordings ever, but the DVD and the record. I couldn't pass up the last reissue that came out mainly because the record now has the entire concert on it. It even makes it that much better. Happy 40th and long live Stop Making Sense!
It really was a tour de force! Without a doubt one of the greatest concert films and soundtrack ever produced. We loved it as kids and that love for it hasn't altered in any way all these years.

40 years already? This is a really great album. I saw the film in a review theatre. So cool.
Hard to believe it's been 40 years already! And when you listen to the record it still sounds pretty awesome! What a fantastic release.
