I would love a video on Scandinavian folklore and herbalism! I live in Norway, and I really wanna get into herbalism, especially the healing benefits of my local plants. But also the lore behind the plants! It’s really hard to find information about it online, so it would be very helpful❤️
Edit: I would also love if you could mention some herbs I can find or grow in my area to put in tea (fellow tea lover here😂)

Hei Jeg ville lest studier og forskningsartikler om gravfunn, for der har man funnet mye interessant som f.eks i Osebergfunnet der man fant cannabis frø i lommen til den eldste kvinnen i graven, antageligvis en volve. Ellers er kanskje svartebok arkivet til uio også av interesse? Ikke alt er transkribert men noen av tekstene er ikke så vanskelig å tyde.
Nordic historical connection and folklore is so important if you intend to shape your practice that way, and its a dense subject with a lot of traps (folkism, wrong information, Christianization to name a few), so yes absolutely would love a video about your research. I do my own, but seeing the paths others find would be soooo helpful.

I'd LOVE a book recommendation video, especially as i remember you saying in another video about avoiding right-wing authors, etc. Imtrying to find good books on runes and witchcraft, bt not knowing what's good, the market is flooded and a few are sub-par.

Hehehe talking to animals is definitely a cool thing too do 😊 it's so much fun to interact with animals on that more connected and deeper level...especially when working with animal guides/spirits or totem animals! ❤ I think that's an awesome power.

About practicing a tradition you don’t have ties to other than interest. In my personal opinion and experience (not saying im an authority), i feel there can be karmic ties from past lives. I have that with Egyptian deities. And yes to respect, but that goes for any spiritual work, I think. ❤
Are you talking about Thorbjorg in the sagas? I LOVE that story. I once asked Freya to tell me what my ancestral magic was. She sent me a dream that showed me chanting to manifest spirits. It sounds very little like what modern musicians try to recreate and is directly related to the songs in the story about Thorbjorg.
Hej Bente, hast du denn schon das Buch "The Nordic Animist Year" von Rune Hjarno Rasmussen im Regal? Das Buch hat mir geholfen Animismus besser zu verstehen und mein eigenes "Wheel of the year" zu kreieren mit Festen die tatsächlich in Skandinavien und Deutschland gefeiert wurden. Absolute Empfehlung.

I also felt overwhelmed by the Fiction options, but since I loved reading fiction and non-fiction I decided to make a Goodreads account. I also started looking at some UA-cam Reading Vlogs without spoilers (basically booktube or booktok on tiktok), this way I got a good idea of genres and popular authors. The start will always be a bit of trial and error since you can't know the writing style through reading reviews but it certainly helped. There are plenty of fiction books about actual magic and witches, I'd love for you to try out this fiction path!
