The kicker about Howling Zinogre? He and Blinking Nargacuga have more health than perhaps any other monster in the series by far at around 600,000. Yes, even more than the Special Investigation Afflicted Monsters from Sunbreak. The monster with the highest HP outside of this is Anomaly Research Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax, topping out at 169,200 with 4 players. Special Investigation might top out at around 300,000 - and that's with a 50 minute time limit. That's how insane the power creep was in Frontier's final days - a single player, with enough skill and the right build, could take out a monster with over half a million HP in under 10 minutes.
There are a few monsters with more health, howling zinogre has the lowest HP out of the "high tier" musous, at 490K. But yeah over the years of frontier the hunters got stronger and stronger and are able to solo quests that were never intended to be done solo. However comparing it to sunbreaks HP bloat endgame is not something id go with, the monsters are easy, the hunters have even stronger abilities than here in Frontier, i think that tells a lot about the direction future MH Games are going. If you would take a hunter from sunbreak, they wouldn't have much trouble taking down what frontier can throw at you. Frontier was a MMO and ran for 12 years, so powercreep was inevitable, however despite all that you still need a good chunk of actual skill to take down everything that the endgame has to offer, since you cant just slaughter everything with infinite wirebug spam like in sunbreak, where everything is helpless and cant fight back.
@@Sera9145so basically frontier is MH in nightmare mode. Monsters are much harder than in sunbreak obviously and the hunters are much less powerful than sunbreak. Even if play normally without much wirebug spam, sunbreak already easy compared to other MH games anyway. Hopefully can try frontier soon after i cleared all deviants in GU.
Extreme Inviduals like Howling Zinogre are basically Deviant monsters on crack and since all Deviants are already Elder level it means that Howling Zinogre is far above an average Elder Dragon only few monsters can battle him and win
Old ass unoptimized build is the only reason tbh. Was the first time i touched a musou run with something that wasn't MS so i didn't really care what i used.
When he does the combo where he builds the lightning sphere around him, after his two paw slams how exactly do you not die from the lightning pillar that comes next? I know that you can roll through it with proper timing but I don't see you roll so what's your secret? xD
Hitlag makes you immune to any damage. Timing the move perfectly for the correct few frames lets you attack without dying. It's way harder than it looks and needs a lot of practice to get consistent.
@@Sera9145 first of all thx for the quick answer Secondly not in a million years would I have guessed that. That basically means that you have to play perfectly on top of playing perfectly. Also that has to be the craziest kind of tech I have ever heard of. So is it basically like "fake" I-frames? And I'm assuming you are using the hitlag of the greatsword counter attack?
I guess you could call it fake i-frames yeah. It doesn't count as an actual i-frame for any of the skill buffs because it just completely disables the hunters hitbox for a tiny window. And yeah it's the hit after the parry that gives me the hitlag at the right time.

Insane to see done with GS, even with extreme style. Nice!

(Spits drink)I'm sorry, WHAT!? That's way more than Fatalis in World. How can Howling Zinogre and Blinking Nargacuga have THAT much health?!

God bless you, fellow greatsword player
amazing run brother, very inspiring
That healthbar is giving me anxiety
This thing probably would one-shot you anyway even from max health.
@@JanusHoW actually, no.
He have a lot of guaranteed one shot move but his regular attack wont one shot you if youre properly equipped.

Sera, you are a godlike being
lmao where did that come from xD
No not really but still, its really impressive for someone to play like that
The fact that this beast doesn’t have an exclusive ost is a testament to how much of a banger og Zinogre’s theme is

Wow, I played this on PS4, wish I can play it on ps again. It is an amazing game.
They revive it last month for Vita, I think they already revive it for PS3 a week after vita but but haven't patched all the latest translation on ps3
Apex Zinogre in Rise/Sunbreak has a similar thunder howling attack.^^
Broken Arm Power Pog
Is there any reason you use reflect up+2? I thought going one above reflect+3 is the max benefit you get from reflect up.

Any reason why you roll instead of just blocking at times?
Too keep up stylish assault, gives a lot of raw attack for evading.

How do I get Poogie to cheer and stuff?
You need to feed the guild poogie to get it's skill.
Then it will cheer.
