Really good points about greatest hits albums. They are often access points to bands and then you can explore the rest of the catalog if you get hooked, especially to see how the songs you like on the greatest hits album fit into the structure of an album.
Yes I discovered the Cure from a greatest hits record and they went on to become one of my favourite bands.
Would love to see them play live for the first time in the US I hope! Great interview with Alex.
