Outstanding performances of Ut Vilayet Khan Saheb who was at his peak form in that period. Pt Shanta Prashad accompanied Khan Saheb ,ably as usual. It was really a very difficult job to match the electrifying speed of tans and jhala performed on sitar by such a rare genius, later on conferred the title of Aftab e Sitar,by the then President of India, Fakruddin Ali Khan Saheb. Ustadji could play the instrument of sitar almost like a magician due to his supernatural technical brilliance achiebed after a rigorous riwaj daily for long years and introduced Gayaki anga in his playing the sitar based on intricate Meends, Tans, Murkis, jhala at a electrifying speed,which could not be as melodiously performed as he used to do.
