This has changed my skin! It was the first actual BHA I tried. I now mix in others on different nights. Peach slices has proven to work nicely as well. I do always keep a bottle if this on hand though. Thank you for the review!!!
Exactly, it works well for all skin types with minimum ingredients that irritates your skin. The other products I’ve tried have so much unnecessary items. In my opinion the price is good, it’s my skin and I’m worth it. Not going to try to save $ when it comes to my skin, will cut back on other items instead.
Hi Sarah, even if you are right, there are plenty of similar products on the market, this one is a staple for me, because it simply works wonderfully for my skin. Normally a couple of times per year the company runs a 20% off, and I buy all my favorites 🥳
Ive tried Every (I think!) BHA our there, and this one is, by far, my fav. Amazon just had this on sale for $27. They also make a smaller bottle for $11 on Amazon (lasts me 2 months, applying 3-4 times a week.
Is this bha anti aging? I always scroll past it because I always assumed it was for acne. What I do love about Paula’s is the constant sales. I never worry about the higher prices because I always know it’s on 20% off sale and usually free shipping if you get on Paula’s choice website. Right now the bha 2% is on sale for $27.20 on Paula’s choice website and free shipping. Somehow everytime I go to the website I have a 20% off coupon attached to my account everytime I buy stuff there?
I just finished a bottle of it, really gd stuff I always pat it on without the need for a cotton pad making it last very long time, a little bit expensive but lasts for a decent time, and now thanks to you Sarah I'm onto G&G Porefectly clear and I'm loving it really nice gets absorbed immediately 🤩
When The Ordinary stopped to change their exfoliant formula, I bought a sample of Paula's Choice BHA to wait it out. Both are excellent products (very similar), but Paula's Choice is $28 more expensive (for no reason). Good video. Thx
How have you been feeling? I just dropped off a goodie box for you at UPS Yesterday with some samples for you to play with! Very excited to see how you like them. 😃😘
@@NOBSBeauty Awww, you’re so sweet. I’ve been battling the stomach flu all week. I think that my Mom had it before me. It seems like I always get sick this time of the year. Ever since I was little. How have you been? Fabulous I hope:) I was excited to start catching up on your videos. Thanks so much, Sarah. You really do have a big heart and caring soul. One of a kind❤️.
I'm from 🇬🇧 and I use a dupe - RevolutionSkin Salycilic 2% Exfoliating Fluid it cost £6.99 . I use reusable bamboo rounds , I only use Differin and Moisturiser on Salycilic Night . 😊👏🇬🇧🌈
Thanks for the tip. FYI, I just started using a silicone beauty blender to spread skin care so as not to lose any product from a cotton round. I hate silicone for spreading foundation, which is why I got it, so I'm glad to have this use for it now which I love.
As an oily skinned person this made me so greasy 😢 but it does work though my skin became very smooth but I hated using it so unfortunately a no from me
Hi! After I use this product, I like to spray my face with water before using my serums *hyluronic acid and jojoba oil* then my moisturizer - is it okay to spray water on my face after I've used this product?? - thanks!
I need to get another bottle of this, myself. I just finished a 2% bha exfoliant from another brand (it was so-so), so I’m going to back to it finally. I’ve realised that I don’t exfoliate as much in the last year or two either. I went from over exfoliating to forgetting when the last time was that I used one 😂
It can get complicated, but if your skin is hearty enough to tolerate both retinoids and exfoliants alternating them every other night seems to work well.
I tried this and it took me a long time to finish, but I was surprised by the fact that I didn't notice any improvement. For the price of products from the brand I can't imagine buying anything from them again.
I'm still really enjoying the new Cosrx Vitamin C 23% Serum, and it's still pretty fresh even after opening it about two months ago. I also liked the new one from Paula's Choice Moisturizer, as well as the one from biobare. Have you tried any of those before?
@@NOBSBeauty … no … this year I’ve tried herbivores nova serum, yttp vitamin c serum, and. biosannce vitamin c serum. Was thinking about trying paula’s choice vitamin c booster (there is a set with it and a small vitamin c moisturizer and eye cream) , algenist’s blue algae vitamin c serum , kiehl’s dark spot serum with active c, or saint jane beauty’s vitamin c serum.
No more BHA toners for me I know that sounds a little surprising especially since it's coming from someone who is always been obsessed with BHA. This is because I finally found my holy grail replacement which is Isntree green tea toner and I don't have to go through all the cons that come with BHA. I’m obsessed with their green tea toner and I think it's underrated by many. OMG, it's gentle yet it’s very effective in keeping my breakout at bay. It gives me poreless glass skin. Ps:Another affordable dupe for the PC bha toner is Isntree chestnut 2% BHA clear liquid so there you have it.
Yea. Lots of brands do this. Its a bit deceptive but saves them money. Im an RN/esthetician and used to have my own skincare line and ran into this. Several of the products were the same just marketed diffrently. There was an AHA cleanser that was marketed as an Acne cleanser and Anti aging. There was also an AHA serum marketed the same way. Exact same ingredients just diffrent marketing.
Interesting, I didn't even notice that (usually I do but not this time). My biggest frustration with this is brands that do this with eye creams. Neutrogena used the same formula for their eye cream which was the same as the hydro boost moisturizer. Kinda sketchy when brands do this.
Hi Sarah, this product was one of my first products in my skincare journey. I think, for me, it is a good bha that doesn’t irritate. I am curious about it being docked points for price. I agree that cost is not cheap ( and like most of brands products, it has gone up at least 20%). But My question would be if you look at cost per ounce, you do get 4 ounces at $8.50 per ounce. Which isn’t bad. Anyway, I will definitely try G & G salycilic Thanks for reviewing this😀
This was my first one, too, Kim. I had gotten away from Paula's Choice for many reasons but recently have been wondering if I should come back to this or try to find a "dupe", so I'm glad to see this review here.
Guess I must be a Halloween monster from another planet, but despite Hyram raving about this one for like a hundred years, it just never seemed do anything for me.
Have you had better luck with other BHA products or other exfoliants such an aha's? I don't notice a huge difference when I use it, but a bigger difference when I don't notice it.
Unpopular opinion: I don't like this product. It feels a bit oily on my skin but still weirdly drying. Maybe I am using it wrong, maybe the sample I got was a bad batch, but my experience with it was not good. I still use it on my nose for the blackheads though.
Hey I’ve heard on Paula’s choice Instagram feel they said if your skin feels oily you using too much of the product. Cuz that used to happen to me and I lessened the amount it’s less oily now. Hope this helsp
Have u tried the Postal and Mortar lactic acid liquid yet? I heard it was really nice kinda interested in trying it. I know they have a liquid BHA kinda like the PC liquid BHA too and a glycolic version that is the one I thought u tried but not sure.

Any suggestions on a good elegant formula that absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling tacky when it comes to a Vitamin C serum?
