Hello! Both are great courses, depends on your preferences. SSS is more theoretical and SIS is more practical.

Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, but I have one question for you (Hope you don't mind).
I want to apply for SIS (which is - Specialization in World Economy) for M.A. Economics but I didn't have Maths in graduation, will I able or eligible for this course ?
I had following subjects in my graduation - (1. Research and methodology in Economics, 2. Indian Economic thought, 3. Money and banking, 4. Industrial and labour Eco, 5. Macro Eco, and 6. International Eco)
These are subject which I have studied in graduation so, will I eligible for SIS ? Because I don't have mathematics. (But I have learnt some part of Statistics in Reaserch and methodology in Economics) and in eligibility criteria JNU mentioned one should have mathematics as subsidiary subject.
Please just tell me (on the basis of my subjects which I mentioned above) will I eligible for SIS (M.A. Economics) ???

Hello! As per the eligibility criteria given by JNU, you are definitely eligible for SSS. It is unclear from the prospectus if you are eligible for SIS, so we would recommend that you sit for both exams as anyway you have to solve SSS and SIS papers
