Now that I know how much you guys love Aishwarya Rai( Efra specially😉) and Sanjay leela Bhansali, you guys should definitely check out 'Aankhon ki gustakhiyan' from 'Hum dil de chuke sanam', it's brilliant both musically and cinematically.
So the movie y'all thought was Anybody can dance was actually 'Dhoom' and the one with Aamir Khan was 'Fanaa'. Check them out sometime! Both have some of the most iconic songs from the 2000s.
I think the old songs were better because the sound didn't feel studio generated... nowadays the audio is a little too perfect. old song sounded like the singers were present at the location.. singing. we could hear impurities(wind, birds, vehicles, tress) in the songs which made them special.
Imo 60s was the best era for bollywood music when composers like sd burman, madan Mohan, Naushad.. used to make original music . If you ever see a list of 100 greatest bollywood albums of all time probably half of them would be from 60s
3:27 mannnn the way the strong nostalgia hit me i am about to cry....those were the days man few tv channels , only worry was pf school and homework what a good days those were yaar i miss it so much.
I recommend Veer Zaara' s(a movie from 2004) soundtrack! Main Yahoon Hoon, Tere liye or Aisa Des Hai Mera especially. The soundtrack was based from songs that were 50 years old and composed by late music director Madan Mohan - the songs are from music that was essentially "old and untouched". The director of the film wanted the soundtrack to be nostalgic sounding and give an almost old world feel. The soundtrack is phenomenal!
Monsoon comes to India after very hot and dry season ....and when it comes every where it's greenery ,weather changes ..it's good for our crops ,people come out to enjoy and eat hot samosas ,fritters etc
Songs - movies 1. Zara zara - rehna hai tere dil me ( worth watching) 2. Tere dil ka rishta - koi aap sa 3. Dil haaraa - tashan 4. Mast kalandar - heyy baby ( worth watching) 5. The last one starring the Big B - Amitabh Bachachan and Maushami Chatterjee and sung by The great Kishore Kumar and Lataji composed by the legend composer RD Burman brings back lot of my Childhood memories ❤❤❤
Since you like the live performances, Here are couple of links to Great Legend late Mohammad Rafi Sahib's live performances: First one is his live concert in Montreal (1979, about 1 hr 15 mins) ua-cam.com/video/TE6e3eAtLSM/v-deo.html , and second one is very early on black and white live song (only bit over 6 mins) performance ua-cam.com/video/tkT0t8k7m2I/v-deo.html . Enjoy!
I think art is something that we always like more of yesterday than today. Even if the best song of the century released today, people will not recognise it till atleast 5 years pass😂
Bollywood 2000's was the best Era of the best actors like " Shahruk khan , Hritik, Salman khan..." the movies, the songs, the acting...everything was so damn good
2:01 credit to the original artist, this one is up there as a bollywood nostalgia but it wasn't originally a Bollywood composition, it was added to the movie Jai Veeru
5:13 out of all the Pakistani songs bollywood copied/made their own, this one is DEFINITELY a Pakistani nostalgia. Woh Lamhe was never a slow paced lustful love song to me, it will always be the Jal version for me
I absolutely adore ur love for JAB WE MET.... that really is one if the best bollywood movies.... On paper it's just seem an OK romcom, but their chemistry makes it so much more
Old is gold but this is not old enough. Y'all need to someday seriously dive into the early works of Kishore, Rafi, Asha and of course the evergreen, voice of India Lata Mangeshkar.
No I am 19 but Rafi and Kishore are my favourite I don't know who suggests them these but old songs are literally of 50s to 70s and belong mostly to Rafi and Kishore Kumar
Abcd any body can dance, the actors are actually dancers that been collected through a dance show called dance india dance. The director of this film was one of the judges of that show , remo d souza.
Remo is one of the 3 gods of dance , choreographers of indian dance industry and the other 2 are geeta kapur and terence lewis who were the co judges of dance india dance.
MY RECOMMENDATION FOR PAKISTANI OST 1. SANG E MAH BY ATIF ASLAM 2. YUNHI BY SHAE GILL & SAMI KHAN 3. LAAPATA BY KIRAN WASEEM & TEHSEEN 4. PAARIZAD BY SYED ASRAR SHAH 5. ANKHAIN BY RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN 6. BADSHAH BEGUM BY ALI PERVEZ 7. HUM KAHAN KAY SACHAY THAY BY YASHAL SHAHID 8. BAKHTAWAR BY SHIRAZ UPPAL 9. ISQH E LAA BY AZAAN SAMI KHAN 10. PYAR KAY SADQAY BY AHMAD
I am Pakistani but i loveeee old bollywood songs. Thwy used to produces sooo beautiful melodies. Like "zara zara mehakta h" , veer zara, Love 2020, the elite music of "Rehna hai tere sil mein" give me goosebumps. Same for musical movie "yuvraj" ahhh. they just do something to me. Like soul touching❤ there are so many others. In
Well our playlist are filled with old songs cuz today bollywood is on a trend remaking every hit old song out there so we don't have much choice to explore new music for past few years..that's why
In old times there were no labels to mess things up. Today, if some composer will do these types of songs, chance are that some label executive will reprimand him for not going with the 'trend'
Always hated to listen to the 50s 60s songs as a Child, when my parents used to listen to them. Now when I am myself 25, I realise how epic they were. Old bollywood songs are unmatchable.
It will be great to have you guys react to the rain based songs of the past i.e. 1970-2000. The best songs were made then. This reaction was all over the place..sorry to say that.
Wanna describe bollywood music in few words - kishore kumar, lata mangeshkar, asha bhosle, md rafi, kumar sanu, alka yagnik, sonu nigam, shreya ghoshal, sunidhi chauhan, arijit singh❤❤
I like older songs more because they had less autotune, good lyrics and good compositions...
And they are still fresh
But too old songs have bad music quality
@hahaha8082 But It Makes up For It With Their Impeccable Writing Exceptional Singing And Splendid Composition
I would say I like both old and new songs

I m sure most of them were detailed more and not just computer generated beats
The truth is studio generated music can sound very organic and authentic if done right...we have countless examples.
That song is not from ABCD , it's from DHOOM movie.

You went from 4:00 to rain songs list and kept going on... You guys didn't realized why you end up with all rain songs.
Recommend you "Sawan aya hain" , Arijit Singh's one of most nostalgic romantic song. I love this song so much 🥰🥰
