Awesome teaching Sir
I'd love a tutorial on how to do the exploded view with the 2D layout on the thumbnail!
Thank you so much.
Can Underlays be flipped? just incase I need to put my L2 for my (Base) and my L1 for my (Top Floor)?
You can select underlay objects and edit it. there are selection tray at the very right bottom corner.
yes how do i use that? i have a conduit fitting over my ceiling fan and since the fan is bigger it wont let me select the conduit fitting. So i have to alternate views to get access...but i rather learn to use this feature..pls show me how
working bro! Thanks a lot, +sub +like
Very confusing. In this topic ARCHICAD is much more simple and user friendly. I have been using both and Revit is not for architect. Sorry but Europeans are better at design. Revit is good for plumber and electricians
Thank you so much
I stopped using underlay since it changed. Keep trying, still can't make it work as expected.
All nice and fun, but how do we color the underlay view ? Are there any override graphics for underlay, say, if I want to see it in green for ex ?
The default grey is not enough, make things difficult to distinguish.
Why wont an underlay show me the door or window openings of that particular underlay? I have to manually make those walls transparant
Please keep on working on the videos they way yo do! 🖤
What could be the reason for the floor (concrete under tile finish) to show up whilst the underlay is set at none and the view range also set according to the view plan in which one is working on ?
Wish you would elaborate this point in detail using a live/complex project. I tried this on a project that had structural beams and went nuts trying to get them to show on the floor plan. They had to be shown differently than the roof overhang, so had to select them individually and change their lines properties. Probably was an easier way to do it, but I simply went crazy trying to figure out underlay and view range crap.
could you do it via plan region and set different view range just so it can cut beams and show them on fp
Gracias
Hi Balkan! Thank you for another wonderful tutorial! It is possible make a mask to overlay? In case I what to present some part of the bottom foorplan
Can i know how to bring the pattern behind an object? it seems like it overlayed with an object
Thanks alot for all your videos. Please make a video on how to create a rustic, circular section wood beam family for Revit.
Thanks - changing the underlay line type is going to save me so much time and messing around. I've been using linework to change the linestyle...
As for me, everything is simple and clear. Thank you very much for t
Everything works, especially free, use until it is too late!
Great video and very helpful thanks
After setting the underlay, setting detail level to wireframe reveals all elements beneath. 👍
Would you be able to do a video regarding masonry and utilizing rebar shop drawings?
Thanks man! Regards from Colombia.
