Hey Paul, the reason the sleeves seem higher quality than other sleeves is because other art sleeves have the art as a separate layer, but Dragon shields directly print them on the sleeves, so you have all the benefits of a regular Dragon shield and the nice art to boot.
I've become a Dragon Shield fanboy since I discovered that their playmat are very solid while being very beautiful and their deck boxes are also great ( on par with Ulimate guard and Gamegenic ones ), they also created life points counter for Magic which are also great quality.
When it comes to Yugioh accessories Dragon Shield and Ultimate Guard are the best. When it comes to sleeves they're both great. Dragon Shield sleeves feel and look amazing, but they're kinda hard to shuffle. Ultimate Guard feel aight, the colors look kinda dull, dim, pale but they shuffle extremely well. I prefer Dragon Shield for how they look and feel, but I love both. Also, they're easier to spread across the mat. It's a lot smoother.
I was really excited for a minute because you called them "custom." I was thinking that DragonShield had finally opened their custom sleeve service to the US.
Dragonshield is solid. I don't play that much so I usually just have the cheaper sleeves that are whatever. When I'm going to a tournament locally or moving my deck around I use the clear dragonshields with the cheap stuff over it. They're good stuff
@@SunnyHF-nf4bc I play my blue eyes deck only in petrol sleeves since like 2018 (and I’m due for yet another set)... because it is gas with the dragon link engine and I’m playing the cards a lot more these days! 🔥 ⛽️ 🔥 ⛽️
@@Saixjacket I run a photon deck in mine. Pretty outdated today, but I still enjoy it. And the color just matches the cards. My sleeves are 3 months old and still have that new card sleeve smell.
Every single Dragon Shield matte deck sleeve box I've gotten has come with 2-3 damaged sleeves. I want to like them, but I can only get burned so often before I develop a distate for a brand's products.
KMC perfect fits can be too thin/and flimsy at times for the dragonshields and you need to use a 2nd card to help make room as you slide the sleeved card into em. I find that ultra pro small sized card sleeves work just as good if not better because the slightly thicker welded seem while being same size.
@teamaps I have a challenge for you. It’s the Gun format and it works like this. It has few changes to the base rules: the game starts with a turn 0: during this turn, both players can set a single monster and set any number of spells and traps from your hand as normal. This works like how the Pokémon tcg works. After this the game plays as normal with only 1 other change, effect monsters effects from the hand can only be used during your opponents battle phase or any point on your turn like normal. The point is to give traps more power as they can now be played turn 1 and hand traps don’t just over whelm them. This won’t “fix” the game, just switch things up.
I feel like when it comes to card games ultimate guard (which I use personally) and dragon shield (I don’t use) are the best made products I would use dragon shield if they made custom art work for yugioh
From what I understand, these new matte ones have the art printed right onto the plastic so they're tougher to chip and scratch. They've sold old ones without the matte texturing and also offer a custom art sleeve maker that dont list as being matte so I assume those will be the quality you've seen.
I have tried every major brand of sleeve and even a few of the minor brands and there is just no comparison to Dragon Shield Mattes. Personally my loadout for card games includes, Inked Gaming playmats for custom artwork (I am a graphic designer on the side), Ultimate Guard Boulder 100 deck boxes, and Dragon Shield Japanese Mattes for all of my decks. There is no sleeve that lasts nearly as long as these on the market. The shuffle like hot butter even after months of heavy use.
I hate dragon shields. They too big for magic cards. Yugioh cards are so small you can forget it. Ultra Pro Eclipse sleeves are so snug it’s wonderful. The bigger the sleeve, the more the corners get bent and then shuffling sucks.
They are sized in a way to fit standard sized cards in perfect fits to allow for double sleeving. Dragon Shield also produces sealable perfect fits with no adhesive that fit in their standard sleeve sizes. I may sound like an ad read here but I've been using Dragon Shields for years and swear by them.
Idk I really like them (maybe the sleeves are tighter for magic) it is personally my favorite sleeve rn idk I might try kmc I've heard a lot of good things
I’d love to see dragon shield make customisable sleeves, being able to make them with your own photos
they already do! head on over to their website and order your set today!

I’m glad to see this second channel having more uploads! These videos are really relaxing for me lol
0:29 A DRAGON WITH BRANCH WINGS... Thats the coolest thing ive ever seen!! DUDE!! TREE DRAGONS!! Count me in.
I actually use D shield boxes to hold deck cores. They even leave a blank line on the side so I write in what each box has in it. Love this company

dragon shield is quality when comes to sleeving
This is the only brand of sleeves I use. Love them 11111/10 recommend. The shuffle is just amazing.
I’ll stick with my matte petrol/silver/slate but I really wish they made double sleeves with some design on them. Dragon shield is awesome!!
@Drew Chamberlain Bro, there’s something so enticing about the smell of the Petrol Matte Dragon Shields.

I double sleeve with kmc perfect fit minis and dragon shield japanese size. Highly recommend dragon shields!

I didn't know they did custom art!!!
damn that artwork is dope!! Definitely gotta cop some soon

Let’s go first one. Love this channel 🤩
Love the sleeves!!!!!
I have some of these art sleeves at home for my yugioh cards. :D
My favorite sleeves are dragon shield
I'd prefer solid color sleeves when I design my own tarot and oracle Yu-Gi-Oh orica(others too) profiling cards for my channel.
It is almost like it was a sponsorship
my main issue with dragon shield art sleeves is that they scratch really easy on the front. i hope newer batches can work to fix that
From what I understand, these new matte ones have the art printed right onto the plastic so they're tougher to chip and scratch. They've sold old ones without the matte texturing and also offer a custom art sleeve maker that dont list as being matte so I assume those will be the quality you've seen.
Oh and the ones the Team got here are user submitted art that the company seems to have selected for mass production in matte.
A lot of the dragon shield playmats have YuGiOh life point counters as well as Magic.
The mat i use does
Turn counter on Final Countdown

Dragon Shield should partner with Konami and make Yugioh related card sleeves, cause the ones that Konami is selling are absolute garbage!
ever since i bought DS art sleeves, i have been saying this. but knowing konami, sharing profits isnt really their top priority
That was too much packaging lol
CANT. GET. CUSTOM. SLEEVES. SHIPPED. TO. THE. USA!!!
W H Y T H O ? ! ?
>:(
I bet Paul pumps
These are art sleeves not custom bro
I mean these are not really 'custom' sleeves are they? You can't make your own or anything
they look a bit too big for yugioh cards tbh.

They do have them to fit Yugioh cards 59mm X 86mm(Japanese size on their website)
@@suprchrgr70 that’s good to know

I need to get the small ones! The regular ones are way to big.
