For outside turrets i usually only use missile turrets, it's very fun watching enemies fly through the air when hit my multiple missiles. Turrets towards the inside are usually ballistic missiles or heavy laser
I have a suggestion for your horseshoe. Make it into a commencry. Add some dining tables and some tress or planets. You're almost there, just got add some places to sit-down at.
I'm curious how much you had to expand the build-size limitation. Good job, as always. This one is tough if you won't allow yourself glitches. With them, it is possible to repair the porch roof, interior floors, etc. There is that one corner in the main building which is almost impossible to fix, but I lay that on Bethesda for not including assets for the players. I instead used the scaffolding pieces to create a walkway & placed a sniper's nest/observation point up there. Rather than fight the fog, I played into it by keeping the largest trees & placing the yellow vertical lights with the L-shaped base into the boles of the trees, subway lights around entrances & ground-based track lighting for walkways, but a lot of the green lights throughout to amplify the fog effect. I've searched all over the Island for any of the "Don't Feed the Bears" stand-up signs which you'll find in the Commonwealth. Best I could manage are the signs with the circle & slash to indicate the same idea.
This looks really good. I thought maybe for the large area in the center, maybe add a pool with seating. Also, have you added any floor traps for enemies that they can fall through? Would those be effective enough for your build types??
I've learned this a lot between Fallout 3 New Vegas and then the Fallout 4 I like the fact that you build it more on the vanilla base and not more on the mods kind of closer to PC level I kind of like that because I also own an Xbox now I have learned in Fallout 4 that even though you can build your settlements into fortresses will also tell you that your settlement is under attack surprisingly Believe It or Not Your Weapons will not open fire and defend that Fortress until you get within a certain range or close enough to your base to be notified by the Ia then your weapons open fire which is kind of dumb your settlers will defend the base and you know your settlers and your defense people will defend the base but your current will not work till you are in an area and I don't know if that's a vanilla bug but I haven't found it through any mods either so I don't know if that's a console bug or it was just designed that way which is kind of weird but I like all your videos so keep up the good work
Nice build but far harbor is possibly the worst place to try and have settlements they are always getting attacked and they have happiness issues and it’s annoying anytime you have to travel there wish you could turn them into raider settlements
Question about missile turrets. It was my understanding that they can blow up your own stuff. When i use em, i usually put yhem in a bunker so they cant turn around and fire into the settlement
they can kill your NPCs and damage your other turrets so you do have to be careful where you place them. that's one of the reasons I usually go a bit overkill with turrets so that enemies are dealt with before the NPCs have a chance to wander into the line of fire.
lol, mostly it's my mic setup and studio setup, it's fluctuated a lot as I've gotten better about mic placement, upgraded sound-proofing, and transitioned to new microphones.
This settlement is awesome. There are so many features that are on display. It gave me a lot of ideas to try in my settlements

Great build. Really love it. You could throw rubber mats down on the holy floors to cover them up
Far Harbor settlements are one of the most difficult to manage in Fallout 4 game, so you did a good job here with the defence.

It's already there
man, i can't wait to see what you did for the sawmill setllement in far harbour

the trick for a floor washout glitching is actually a rug :) you can easily patch up holes with carpets
"Just enough to squeeze through so you can do maintenance on them"
Speaking as an engineer ......you're evil.
fair enough lol. speaking as a technician... I hate most engineers... but you seem cool. you care about maintenance.
have you done a video yet on spectacle island?

Love your videos keep it going
I'm late to the party, I know, but in the main cafe, why don't you just swap the fridge and the stove? Or will that not work with vanilla AI pathing?

I would put the switch inside to close down the trading section
for the exercise area why not throw a rug over the holes?
Wow your voice changed so much in 3 months! just saw ur 5 tips video

Are those family friendly rooms, directly over brahmin pens?
Where can I find that mutant Erickson????
there's a marked plane crash in the middle of the Island, I think directly west of acadia.
@@Theegreygaming thanks
Why not just wire your lockdown doors to siren??
