Edward Dahlgren, Medal of Honor, WWII

On February 11, 1945, Sergeant Edward Dahlgren led his men through heavy fire to rescue a besieged unit in Oberhoffen, France, destroying several enemy positions along the way. On August 23, 1945, he received the Medal of Honor from President Truman.
