Sorry about all the suffering those beads put you through. Regarding the elastic bursting, I bought stuff to make bracelets the other day, & you need to put super-glue over the knot in the elastic. I would never have known except the lass in the shop told me. Also, I love your caps! Especially the one with the eye! 👁 🩷🩷🩷
You gave it a go Ant, that's the main thing.💗 I've been using Sculpey Premo (polymer clay) to make beads and charms, so far they have turned out great...so if you ever decide to give it another go.😉
Thank you for being our sacrificial Ant. I think part of the problem might be that you didn't have a large glass of wine while working on this project. The beads might still have been crap, but I bet you'd feel better!
Hey Anthony I suggest putting the metal through the beads before u take them out of the tool and don't just push the metal through, instead do it while turning it like drilling it in kind of and if that doesn't work it will do much better if you add a little bit of something to lubricate the metal, high percent rubbing alcohol would work perfect and it will help you smooth out the outside of your beads to make them perfect. Would love to see you look at a couple videos and give it another try pretty please I know you can slay this. Also mixing the colors to marble them will disguise some tiny imperfections.
😲 bless you Ant, that was very testing for you. I shouldn't of laughed when your beads fell off 🤭 but I couldn't help it. Well done for trying though lovely 👏🏻👍🏻😃🤗🥰
You tried so hard! Thank you for the shoutout at the end. Sorry, I could only do it for a month or two life had plans! Love watching all your videos will continue to support as much as I can! 🥰😊❤
I have only ever used that gizmo for making one at a time. Only used with fimo or sculpey it never made air dry clay sadly. I love your videos whether things work out or not Ant. You are just a joy to watch and I look forward to each new video that drops. ❤
It was a great try Ant, better than I'd do, and you're much more patient than I'd be! I make jewelry professionally and now i know i would hate trying to do this, so i thank you for saving me time and sanity! All of us that "know" you through your videos love you and hopefully our well wishes erase the "you're doing it wrong" weirdos 😂 thank you for another great video!
Your old fimo is still usable, it just needs to be needed and warmed up. It's a petroleum based polymer so without baking it will stay in that state indefinitely just gets a little crumbly. Also the measurer is great to get uniformed beads and you should only roll one bead at a time. When it's rolled you work it toward the end of the roller and with both top and bottom of the roller together trapping the bead you insert the rod so it doesn't warp. Hope this helps love the vids
Oh Ant! You made my day! Thanks for showing me I dont need to make homemade beads lmao! I'm sorry I'm laughing at your struggles, but you handle them so well! 😂😂😂
I’ve got one and love it. You were nearly there, just put the soft Fimo beads in the fridge to firm them up before you put the hole in them. When you tie the elastic for the bracelet, tie a knot and pull the elastic until it won’t stretch any more (yes, it sometimes breaks). Tie a second knot and pull tight then put a dob of clear nail varnish on the knot to stop it slipping. (Some glues eat into the plastic) I hope you have another go. It’s just a knack. 👍
Individually hand crafted beads, every one subtly different and made with a kind of love. You could have tried drilling them out once they had gone hard. What do I know, I have never made a bead in my life. Though I have eaten a few donuts so am not totally unqualified.
I'm so sad it broke! A for effort. Maybe you could try using the screwer while it's still in the roller but close to the edge. That night help keep the shape
Instead of filling up the measurement cup. Use a small cookiecutter. You can make different sizes by cutting it in half or adding one or two together. I find it much easier and more precis 😊. Also you can still use that polymer clay. You run it through a pasta machine a good amount of time. If its still crumbling use a little oil or vaseline on your fingers and then try again. It helps if you put it in a plastic bag and put it in hot water before you start. If you don't have a pasta machine use the plastic bag a!d hit it with a rolling pin for a good time.(Just think of your ex)😊
Hey Ant, thanks for suffering all of that for the latest video!! It looks like one of those 'handy devices' that actually make things twice as complicated than doing it by hand🤣🤣 At least you've got plenty of fresh Fimo now in case you have a sudden urge to make oven-baked clay crafts! 😂😂
@@AnthonyCrammen I guess they might come in useful if you have an upcoming craft session with the Wheel of Fortune!! Hope you're having a great weekend and not having to work crazy hours for this one!
I love your videos, I think you’re fabulous and true to form. Would it have been possible to feed the rod into the clay prior to putting in the roller machine and then rolling them whilst on the rod?🤔🤷🏼♀️. Anyways I felt your pain 🤣. Great vid nonetheless I appreciate your efforts and you make me laugh so much, so big thank you👍🏻💋
🤣oh, hun. You have the absolute worst luck. If it helps the bracelet was cute until life surprised you. Thank you for always making me laugh and giving me hope through your unwavering positivity. I don't know how you do it.😊❤
As we would say over here, hateful wee thing. I bought one yeaaaaaaaaaaaaars ago and it was rubbish. Also, we used to put superglue on the knot so it wouldn't come undone. Just a bit of advice, not telling you you did wrong lol See ya next week! (On here of course, not in real life cos that would be kinda wrong 🤣 ).
@@AnthonyCrammen I do think that you are absolutely right you would have probably had more fun and they would have probably came out better if you made them by hand

Stretch Magic bracelet cord says to use a surgeons knot for longevity, your cord may work after all.

It's nice to know that someone else has these "moments" as well. You're human!!!!

Always a fun video to watch, Anthony 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Haha very true!!! 😅😅🍷🍷
I bet you could make beads so much better by hand than that machine did. I love that you kept trying and didn't give up.
Oh I think so too! Not what I was expecting lol! 😅😅
it's awesome that you kept trying and had a finished piece near the end.
Ah thanks! 😅😊
