- Wix Flooring specializes in installing, repairing, and refinishing wood flooring. The floor is prepped by sanding, buffing, and using wood filler to fix scratches and imperfections. Then one coat of stain is applied and finished off with polyurethane to protect the wood floors.

How Hardwood Floors Are Professionally Refinished - Навчання та стиль
i preferred the colour before personally. but still a great job. i love the grain in wood.
I agree
I was thinking the same.
agree.
I disagree
Same
I really liked the light colored wooden floors before they applied stain to them.
Then you'll love homes built in the early 2000s
Check out "Blanchon Iceberg" - really matte finish - it's awesome.
I suppose it depends on the type of stain that is being applied but I liked how it looked before a lot better.
Same
Ditto.
yes me too definitely
Good stuff
Keep up the amazing work!
This is very satisfying ❤
Man channelled his inner Hypebeast and bought a Supreme Floor Waxer
That machine is indeed supreme just like the sticker says
Lmao was about to say that
I liked the light pastel brown before but this is SATISFING
Great video !! Thanks for sharing ;-)
Fantastic video save me 1500 done the job myself with my families help to redo our main living room looks fantastic now thank you somuch
I do this for a living and I hate it is the hardest work on the planet
Thank you. I learned a few things.
Excelente trabajo💪que clase de barniz usan para proteger el stain?
I can already tell you that those 18 dislikes are from hardwood floors professionals. lol
Straight up not supreme
Great job ! - What pad used or rug kind under the buffer to apply the stain? ... Thank you
0:32 Supreme... Oh The Humanity.
Also that’s a really good buffer my dad has to stain it by hand
Does this get rid of scratches and dents ? Any kind of blemish?
Çok güzel olmuş bak
They : which level of satisfaction you want?

Me : YES
Can't imagine what you paid for a supreme floor sander.
Before>After
The buffer creates a lot of dust. I have to vacuum with a shop vac for my dad so that he can put on polyurethane and stain.
I feel that the floors jn my house would be 90 filling 8 sand and 2 stain and sealing
How are the baseboards protected from damage during this?
If you keep changing the paper on the edgers with new paper and are carful you won't damage the baseboard but if it is easier for you it is sometimes better to remove the baseboard especially if you are thinking about paintings
Water base is lifeless. Oil brings out beauty and depth.
It depends what product you use
Water base can be fine and is easier to come by. I def prefer oil
Can you give it a white wood finish after sanding it, the original Color is orange
What’s the best mask to use for sanding?
N95 help the most against dust
What's the cost ?
I think you might have the before and after pictures mixed up....
[Laughs in ceramic wooden tile]
How do you maintain it..To keep it clean?
Only use floor cleaner like bona floor cleaner. Wax will cause a build up and make it hell for the next floor guys. Oil is unnecessary as well
@@diegoherrera1422 Thank you very much
😲
I like to half-sand off the finish, ignore any kind of beautifying stain, and pour a bucket of poly finish on top. Then i spread it out with a toothbrush for 8-12 hours. (windows closed, of course)
Yeah I got a friend who smokes meth as well lol
@@JohnSmith-fq7hj Actually, "John Smith from Mumbai", that would be called Huffing. It's a serious epidemic in South America for the children there. So, you're telling me there's a meth problem in India?
@@jeremylindsey94 where are you getting India? I'm American and was making a joke about the 8-12 hour w/ a toothbrush part not the windows closed part lol
Their website must be good lol
so pretty much
sanding 80%
staining 12%
filling 5%
dusting 3%
wow looked better before! not after lol
What is this becoming now? Renovation insider?
My brain and eyes must be broken.... because I *much* preferred the *”before”* look-over the *”after.”* 🤷♀️
They used a water base poly, u would prefer oil. Much deeper look.
Also depends on the stain as well
Final stain color was ugly
How not
So anyone who is watching this, I want you to know that no one good at floors stains with a buffer. That is by far the laziest worst application I've seen. The guy I work with has done it for 30 years and I have done it for 8. You don't use a buffer that is ridiculous.
Please tell me the process. I'm going to do mine soon.
@@heenaqadir5338 sand and staining? I'd recommend finding a reputable flooring guy in your area. It's not super difficult but it takes expensive equipment and practice to make it efficient to get done and that's asking a lot for someone who has no experience.
But if you are going to do it. Rent a belt flooring sander and a flooring buffer. Sand well, then open the grain and wipe on and off.
If you think that keep staining it by hand then lmao.
I'll stain 1500 sqft in the same amount of time you take to stain half a room lmao
And it'll look less blotchy, take more even, and I don't have to worry about lap lines. There's a reason 95% of floor guys use a buffer to stain these days.
@@daniels1293 95%, yeah sure. Also, no you won't. I don't know how bad you are at your job but you didn't do anything any quicker than I do. You also did not look any better than mine.
All you said to me basically is "I'm so bad at doing it the right way, I took a short cut to hid it." But it's your life. I'm just trying to protect people who don't know any better.
They looked better before. What’s going on here ?
Seek private floor sander
Probably cheaper and less effort to just replace it
Wood is expensive. Especially some floors can be worth more since some cuts just aren't made anymore. Cheaper replacements are just downgrades
Before was better than after. FAIL.
you guys are hacks not pros lol this is a joke
Its better to hand wipe stains. If you buff it in it makes any repairs very complicated to match. Plus buffing is the lazy way
This time I will use woodglut plans for this.
