Muse have done so many different styles over the years I always wondered if they would ever do one with a heavy metal style, they touched on it with songs like Stockholm Syndrome, Psycho, Knights of cydonia Exogenesis part 1 , but never actually made an album with it.

This is great to see Muse will be doing some metal, but I do really hope that they still keep some songs with some influences from classical music for us piano-philes.
Metal has more things in common with classical than every other genre of music. That should be a good news for pianists ;)

Simulation Theory was the weakest Muse album so far but still better than most other albums that were released that year. I have always preferred the more guitar orientated stuff though.
