For people commenting about the lack of panoramic roof, ventilated seats, and 360 camera please be aware that to get a Rav 4 XSE with those features in the current Toyota mark up environment will run you over $50K before basic ad ons like the clear coat. I would rather buy a Lexus NX or Audi at that point, no way in hell am I dropping 60K for a Rav 4. CRV offers better mid price value.
Good point 👍
Good point. I’m not sure why people make such a big deal about panoramic sunroofs… I always keep my (regular) sunroof closed with the shade drawn… I never liked having sunlight beating down on me when I drive.
360 camera, and exact tire pressure reading are two useful
I bought the xse and agree, I wanted panoramic moonroof but it was only available in an upgrade package with a bunch of stuff I didn’t want for another $25000
Regular moonroof is great, 2021 rav4 hybrid xse is great
My dealer is awesome, no markup on that one. Stopped by last week to look at a Tacoma, said he would waive the $1800 markup on the sticker
For these reasons I bought the 2017 MDX hybrid. 25mpg, better utility, features and was 20k cheaper than this. V good car NVR the less
I just ordered a 2024 crv sport touring. MSRP is only $400 more than 2023 model. Best deal is at Cosco automobile program if you are a Cosco member. Deal was $400 below MSRP, no add-ons and 15% off any accessories. Delivery in 2 months,
Thanks for the insight
Just got the white Sport-L for 37,112, including the $1400 "add-on" they so desperately force you to buy. The package included the Expel tint though, so that was still worth it.
Bought a Sport hybrid (AWD) in April. First fill up yielded 41.5 mpg (manually calculated) mixed driving solely in Econ mode using regen whenever possible. Still running off the second tank of gas. Wife is a real technophobe and didn’t want a lot of in your face technology. She found the CR-V works for her. Certainly comfortable compared to my 2006 Outback. Main Dislikes: No spare (bought an after market spare kit for long trips. Had only two slow leaks from nails in 17 years of driving my Subaru) and cargo area floor isn’t flat with rear seats folded down.
Thanks for your buyers insight 👍
Quite obvious that you were well prepared to do a presentation of this vehicle.
yep, the not flat floor is SUCh a shame for me. Really need that. Cannot take out rear seat bottom to make it all flat?
Care to share the link for the spare?
was going to get the Tesla Y but OMG the increase in auto insurance is insane and not a fan of having to sit and charge for 30 minutes driving from Vegas to LA. So i am going with the CRV Hybrid Touring
It’s a good choice for the MPG’s 👍
Hybrids are best in the city. On the highway from Vegas to LA you won't save any fuel.
Went from 19 to 24 and my insurance went down 5$ 😊
well just took a trip and my 21 CRV got 31 mpg Vegas to LA my 24 Hybrid just pulled in 36.8 MPG

That’s a really good deal!
Thank you for actually listing the specific positives and negatives of the new CRV. I learned more TRUTH about this vehicle than by watching five other CRV reviews posted by other testers who just blabber and don't go into specific details.
Thank you 👍
I have a 2022 CRV Hybrid Touring AWD and it puts the 2023 to shame. On the '22 the rims look classy, the interior is easier on the eyes as it's not all black, the shifter is push button, it has more storage space, and easier access for the phone charger pad.
The info center of the '23 is an eyesore when driving. Also, the 2023s (all CRV models) have too much piano black (easily scratch-able) gloss material . The dashboard and display looks likes something from the 70's.
The 2022 has a digital driver info center that is much easier to read than the 2023 manual display. If you have an inexperienced driver it's easier for them to pay attention to detail in the 2022. For whatever reason the '23 has cheaper insurance. I was seriously considering buying a 2023 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring but after comparing the two years it's plain to see that the 2023 is missing a few features that are standard with the 2022 such as auto sensing wipers and the hands free power lift gate. More money less desirable features and design flaws.
I had a deposit on the crv touring and the rav4 xse hybrid. Both are really nice, the Toyota is quicker, better fuel economy and has the spare tire so I went rav4 but both are very nice.
🎉 and thinks for your insight 👍
Want to go with the toyota...but more cramped/uncomfortable..which is meaning more and more as we get older. If Honda would go with a spare in hybrid, among a couple other changes.. or get rid of turbo smaller engine.. would make it a quick sell. Thinking
history of hybrid & transmission reliability too🏆
Biggest con for me is the lack of power fold on the side mirrors…. Still bought it though. Love the car overall.
🎉👍
For me the cons were seat comfort, no ventilation seat, no 360 camera. I stuck with Honda however and got an RDX 😊
wow, i cannot grasp that much importance of pwr fold mirrors...?
@@18_rabbit same - same as the heads up display I hear people complain about. I don't get it.
@@18_rabbit It's one of those things, where you don't know what you've been missing, until you've used it. 360 camera I can live without. Ventilated seats are nice, if you live in a hot climate. Parking spaces are getting smaller and smaller, especially in new shopping and condo development, and it's so convenient to push a button and fold and unfold your mirrors.
You forgot to mention, This Crv has no drive belt, has no alternator, and has no starter to go bad, And dosen't have a Traditional CVT transmission it called a ECVT, Means it doesn't have a traditional Steel push belt design like what's found in Nissan Jatco cvts of the early 2000s. Great review otherwise I understand most people could care less about what's happening under the hood but I do, Problem is I want one 🤫.
Thank you
Is this good or bad?
@@michaeljohnsalik2293 As a Diesel Mechanic it's a Great setup, But a huge but for me is how well will the batteries hold up, I guess only time will tell. I have personally driven two 2003 Honda hybrids over 300.000 miles without touching the batteries but those were Nickel Metal hydride batteries, I haven't checked what Honda is using with this Hybrid, I know this 2 liter engine is well built along with the transmission.
Still not a fan of the cvt regardless.
I own a fully loaded CRV sport touring and the only thing missing is ventilated front seats. I wish they were offered.
🎉 the redesign is awesome 👍
That is the EXACT reason I didn't buy one. Black leather seats with no ventilation on the top of the line model?
Pretty sure they will add ventilated seats and 360 camera for 2025 refresh...gotta give people reason to trade up
No folded mirrors and fog lights
@@nobain_ynwa3011Don’t forget the LED rear turn signals
Nice video. I don't think you are many people are aware that the Touring Hybrid is quieter then the lower models. They use Acoustic glass, more sound proofing and the well muffle technology. The Touring is at least 30-40% quieter then the other models. I am 25% hearing impaired and I can talk to my family in the Touring Hybrid, but not with the lower models. The lower models we all have to yell to be heard and repeat ourselves allot
Thank you for your insight, I did talk about this in the review as well 👍
I have the crv and I have hearing loss . I agree with your comment. What did help also was i changed the tires. That did help reduce road noise.
The 2024 Hybrid Sport L trim Honda just released has the acoustic windshield, not sure about the extra sound deadening etc. I just bought one and it is very quiet, a little normal noise on the highway but overall just as quiet as my previous Pilot.
Have about 1800 miles so far on the sport touring it's been great.
Thank you for you owners insight 👍
I have 2,700 on my 2023 and just love the car. Everything about it fits me and my lifestyle......so much better than the 2021 Passport I turned in as a lease to buy the 2023 CRV.
Any idea how to delete radio presets? I also wish there was a way to use Apple CarPlay and still have easy access to the radio when using google navigation 😢
I have 400 miles on 2024 touring CRV
Your reviews are GREAT.The way you speak is very easy to listen to and you can take in every word that you say. Don’t change your format__ everything is perfect as far as I’m concerned. Writing from here in Canada 🇨🇦 so same makes and models that your feature are available, pretty well, here as well.
Thank you I appreciate that 👍
Hawkeye, nice car review. This new CRV looks like a Baby Brother to the 2022 MDX which was re-designed in 2022 ( I have one). No Ventilating front seats? Come on Honda? All your competitors do! KIA, Hyundai, Toyota (in certain models). I still would give this a serious look if the wife and I wish to replace her 2016 CRV Touring.
They are nice vehicles 👍
Great review! Like your attention to detail. Thank you.
Agree with you on the lack of storage space for driver and passenger.
Storage pockets needed on sides of console. (Working on creating my own)
Thank you 🎉👍
Btw, just subscribed. I like this straight to the point review. Will be watching more 🔥🔥
Thank you I appreciate that
I bought a 2024 CR-V hybrid sport touring in January (traded in my 2020) and I love this car with one exception. Nobody ever mentions this and I’ve watched many videos. The windshield washer system is absolutely awful! Especially near the ocean where you have to wash the salt spray off every day…it just doesn’t work and I can’t imagine what it will cost to replace the wipers. One other small thing I don’t like is the owner’s manual. They used to have a shortened version, but not anymore. Who has the time or inclination to wade through over 600 pages of the manual. Thank heaven for UA-cam. Having said that, I’d buy this car again tomorrow I like it so much.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Yes- it causes scratches on windshield because the fluid doesn't come out immediately.
The price is right, the gas mileage is right, but it needs at least 2000 lbs towing, ventilated seats, and more leather color options besides black and grey on the touring model.
Good points 👍
No homelink either
Although it was in my list as a possible option, Honda as crazy as it sounds is not offering a SPARE tire in the new Hybrid 2023 CR-V, this is insane. The chances of driving cross country and not having a flat and then being at the mercy of AAA tow truck puts the Honda CR-V Hybrid at the bottom on my list. I am looking now at the new Mazda CX-50 although not a hybrid but like the design, engine configuration, and overall feel of the vehicle.
They are nice vehicles but not for everyone here is a link to the Mazda CX-50

I had paid a deposit for the 2023 sport hybrid touring . But I canceled it because even the top trim does not have a spare tire and fog lights.
@@cloudysky9395 Thanks for confirming.
That is why I will get the EXL- gas engine and spare tire...
@LatinJck Is there any room to add a spare tire kit?
this is a really good car durable you feel it, 13:35 will last a very long time 36-42 iam getting in my sport touring city driving.
That’s good mpg 👍
Ventilated seats, 360 camera, a better Honda app to manage car, a even bigger screen like the BMWs, floor and door lighting, are a few things Hondas need
That is a good point 👍
Nice looking CRV! What % tint do you have on 2 front windows please? (Also, any tint on the back windows- over tge factory privacy glass?).
I do not know, this was done through the dealership 👍
No spare tire on this new CRV is a deal breaker for me. I might just look at the new Pilot instead.
I thought the same but then I said to myself, when was the last time I have ever used a spare tire 😁👍
Get the Rev-4. It gets stuck in the snow really fast. It only costs about $100.00 to get towed out.
@HawkeyeRides but when u did or needed to... ah yes, it's nice to have. Lol. Rather have it and not need it
Just buy a spare for a few hundred bucks and strap it to the trunk or the roof basket when on trips into the wilderness, and just leave it at home when around town and rely on the pump in the trunk or just call roadside assistance
Regarding the whining engine noise,
Is it always loud or only in Sport mode? Honda engineers add a fake engine noise to speakers in Sport mode.
It will have engine sound come in and that is correct with the fake exhaust sound. It’s better than the last gen but it’s not going to be as sound proof as an Acura 👍
IT’s especially loud when you back up
@@froggybug that's a noise the car makes to alert pedestrians since it can run rather silent
@@dundundata7603 its super annoying but I makes sense. The Prius runs ghost silent and I used to scare people allllll the time🤣🤣🤣
The Kia Niro had beeping noises. That’s makes more sense to me. The whine is nearly constant…broken only when the engine turns on.
Nice review! You said "leatherette" in your Sport Touring video which I'm guessing was inadvertent. It's genuine leather. :) One negative I've noticed in mine...the radar range in width for the adaptive cruise control is TOO wide, and I find the car is slowing dramatically at times for a car in the adjacent lane, even when there is no curve. My previous Honda, a 2020 Touring Accord, did this only on curves, when the radar intersected a car ahead on a curve moving into my forward path. Interior AC and fan thermostat is definitely more sensitive to heating from the sun when driving, and fan makes more frequent and welcome speed changes in response to that heating. Miss the HUD and ventilated seats of the Touring Accord but, otherwise, this is the most refined Honda of my 8 consecutive leased Hondas yet (previously all high end Accords, but the new Accord is 1" too long for my garage), and LOVE the perfect seat height for my arthritic knees getting in and out, as opposed to the low seats in the Accord. Great exterior look, as you noted, and I got the night pearl blue. Wish Honda offered more interior color choices...probably would have preferred the gray as opposed to black. Road noise isn't Mercedes-eque by any stretch, but is significantly down from my previous Accords. Rear doors open almost 90 degrees, so that would be great for parents with little ones and car seats, and easier than the Accord. SlowER than the great 2L/10AT powertrain, no longer offered, in my previous 2 Accords, but NOT slow. Off the line torque is excellent, nearly no body roll, great steering feel, brakes feel good, firm but never harsh suspension. Best headlights ever, with wide range even on low beams, better to see wildlife on the left as well as on the right...my Accord had a cut-off on the left. As you said, the Bose is terrific, too. The Sport Touring may sound pricey, but it's not when compared to similarly equipped small SUVs or to the Accord Sport Touring. It'll be awhile until I find out how the AWD does in Buffalo snow (suspect Subaru's symmetrical AWD is better), but it will be nice to have a Snow mode 'round these parts.
Thank you for your insight 👍
No foglights, wireless charger iphone keeps moving when you turn. No spare tire. not all LED for a top trim? i hope they fix this issues in the 24 crv that was a deal breaker for me
It would be nice to see this updated 👍
I thought it had fog lights
Honda's reasoning behind the no fog lights were that the LED headlights were designed in a way that you wouldn't need it. As someone who owns the 2023 sport, they're correct here. A lot of companies are moving away from fog lights for this reason. 2. The wireless charging pad is a dealer install option for around $350. Although I can agree that maybe it should be standard on the top trim. The same can be said about the LED lights all around, but, once again, they can be installed for around $80. The biggest gripe would be the spare tire. Which is available on the gas versions but not the hybrid which is what I have. But hey, who am I to judge deal breakers because, the reason why I didn't buy the new HRV was because it didn't have cup holders in the back seat.
Haven't had trouble with the phone moving, I'm sure you could stick something there to cradle it. Yes the turn signals bulbs in the rear are not LED but it's an easy swap. Not sure if they will be adding a spare though in the future.
Enjoy your new lumber wagon, Rav-4.
Wish list for this car

1) 360° camera
2) individual tyre pressure sensor display
Some please ask their cousin that works at Honda to fix these please and thanks

No 360 camera, no front camera, no fog lights, plastic attachment to gas pedal, no adaptive light beams, no spare tire on hybrid, wireless charging doesn’t work on higher models apple 14 pro max, etc
@@jackeroo75 The wireless charging is an apple problem, not a Honda problem.
@@linnns7104 no it is a Honda problem. “Just bought a 24 CRV Sport L - same issue with the charger and my iPhone - there is a huge compatibility error between the charger and any iPhone from the 11 and on. This was confirmed by the service center at the dealership - has to do with a mag strip in the phone - so there is no fixing it. Just have to hope for a factory recall. I demanded some free add-ons to compensate for losing this feature and the dealer obliged. I suggest most of you try this - after all the car should come with the privacy divider for the trunk and all-weather mats.”
I bought a Hybrid Sport, the only thing I wish it had was the power tailgate.Other than that it has all the features I needed.
Congrats they are nice vehicles
Missing too many features for an all new vehicle for 2023.
This is becoming normal unless you want to spend 60-100k
@@HawkeyeRides Most of its competitors offer panaramic roof ,360 camera and ventilated seats. Like I said, missing too many features to be an all new vehicle. On top of that, top competitors also offer PHEVs.
@@deman19901 I agree with you all I way saying is what is going on. Every vehicle has increased the price way too high for what you pay for.
Get a RAV-4 for only $50,000. Problem solved.
An array of information for the driver in the instrument panel. Why doesn’t this HRV have a temp gauge? It’s missing a very important gauge the temp gauge. Is this another way for Honda to save a few dollars delete the temp gauge and replace it with a idiot light and let’s not forget increase the price of their vehicles. No thanks, I’ll stick with Toyota RAV4 which I know has a temp gauge.

What happen when the electric battery broken. Can the car use the gasoline to run?
No
Have the same exact trim and color. Absolutely love it!
🎉 they are awesome 👍
No spare tire was a stopper for me in the hybrid. I went with the Toyota highlander hybrid.
🎉 they are nice vehicles too
No spare tire so, if you hit something and it tore a hole in your tire you will be stuck. Possibly at night, or a bad area. I have had this happen. Simply horrendous to offer a vehicle without a spare tire unless they have run flats standard. Shame on you Honda. And I have two Hondas with spare tires.
This is becoming more common as it saves weight and the company 💰👍
I had run-flats on my old BMW 5 Series and, while they saved me twice, they had a short life (25K to 30K miles, tops) and were terribly expensive to replace. Agree, though, the CR-V should have a spare.
You didn't point out that the new hybrid versions of the CR-V doesn't have the spare tire because it's where the hybrid battery is located.
👍 I left it for other reviews
First fill up today. After I-94 for 375 from Mpls to Kenosha. 378.2 mi used 12.01 Gal. About 31.5 mpg. Running 72-73 mph most of the way. Trip computer showed 29.7 mpg.

Great review. Two questions. 1. I'm a BIG guy and have a 2020 CRV EX-L...the drivers' seat is just a little tight for me. Do you know if the 2023/24 seat is a bit wider than before? 2. Are there any changes from 2023 to 2024 in the Hybrid Touring? Thanks!
The seat is a little better and the front space has increased over the 2022, for 2024 they have added a sport L Hybrid which adds gloss black exterior accent and is under the touring trim (kind of a sweet spot trim) 👍
Good review. Is the Apple Carplay wireless ?? I realize the hybrid has wireless charging. Looking at the touring model

Big problem the price: why it's $5000.00 (Canadian money) more than the oder? Small turbo block, heater problem...not a SUV for the Québec (Canadian province) area.
Thanks for your insight 👍
other than the upgraded sound system would you say that the touring trim is worth the price increase. Does it drive any quieter than the L trim ?
They are the same in driving, the only difference is features. Because the market is turning a bit I would work a deal for the sport touring but wouldn’t be upset to walk away from a deal and go to the sport l trim.

It really is a defined vehicle, just like the Accord, but a lack of full digital display, 12” infotainment, no full LED in the rear, no ventilated seats, etc is a huge downgrade for the price.
Good points
No panoramic roof,360 camera and ventilated seats....DOA. I can see missing one, but not all 3.
You can can get that all on the RAV-4. Just bring about $4,000 more to your dealer.
I own exactly the same trim 2023 CR-V as on this video, got mine among the first one's back in December 2022, and I got to say, that current Honda built quality has disappointed me. Paint coating of the inside portions of the doors is so poor, that I got corrosion in 4 months old car! This is unacceptable! Went to my local dealership to claim the warranty repairs. While they were fixing it, I've been curious and went on their lot to check a few brand new CR-V's for the same area, and unfortunately, same poor coating and uneven gaps on the hood/fenders area, the lift gate and side panels as well!
And lastly, what the service department manager told me about those findings, shocked me! His words exactly " It's okay for the mass production vehicles"
Previously, I had spent hours on the phone with the American Honda call center about this issue trying to get someone in the quality control management, but unfortunately they've said that there is no such one, so that's probably why Honda manufacturing going down in the quality I guess? So sad experience. Beware, and check on those things at the time of purchase!
I alway recommend to everyone, check the vehicle out before you buy, if it’s raining tell them you will come the next day so you can see any problems and point it out before you drive off. Thank you for your insight and I hope no one else has this problem and Honda takes care of it for you 👍
You really should buy a RAV-4. You deserve it. Do you live in a snow area? Some towning companies only accept cash. Bring plenty.

I disagree with your assessment of engine noise - to me it sounds great! You can really hear the VTEC there, Like older VTEC Honda engines! :) And it doesn’t sound like a hybrid at all! The way the revs drop is similar to a DCT, except much smoother - and to me that was a determining factor in buying one of these! It drives and sounds like a regular ICE Honda, unlike all the other hybrids out there that don’t have those simulated engine shifts, and just sound horrible! And I think that’s quite smart of Honda - they made the hybrid the sporty version of the CR-V - and I have to say, that’s ingenious and addresses one of the biggest problems with hybrids - that they aren’t fun to drive and don’t have good driving feel!
I like engine sounds but this model gets extra sound proofing so I would like to hear less. If it’s a performance vehicle I’m all for it 😁👍
@@HawkeyeRides I enjoy engine sounds whether or not it’s a “performance vehicle” or not. In any case, in Econ mode it is a lot quieter! Not sure if you’ve tried that!
@@HawkeyeRides I don’t know, I just feel that if an engine sounds good, the sound should come through no matter if the car is a “performance” car or not! I know a lot of people disagree, but I just don’t understand them! I think they should be enlightened to how awesome engine sounds could be! And maybe it’s a matter of education, rather than changing the design!
@@ydnality I did and have reviewed this vehicle a few time, congratulations with your vehicle they are nice
I wish i saw this and waited on a RAV4 hybrid limited. I got jipped. No homelink rearview mirror, no ventilated seats, no heated seat option for the rear, no option for panoramic sun/moon roof😢, no 360 camera. The engine whine is loud and even LOUDER in reverse. RAV4 has all this and a spare and fog lights and option for panoramic camera. Also…no way to turn off the middle air vents.
The new CRV has a lot of updates but no options, thank you for your buyers insight 👍
The driving experience is much smoother for the CRV than the Rav4 and the engine quieter than the Rav4. And the reverse sound, that's the hybrid sound that all hybrids make when backing up because the engines are too quiet to alert pedestrians. I've had my 2023 CRV 4 months and it flew up the hills in Tahoe last weekend and the cargo space for that trip was way more than I needed which was great. Both cars have pros and cons and when you test drive them, you add everything up and chose what is best for you. My 2023 CRV is quieter than my 2021 6 cylinder Passport was.
And more cramped/uncomfortable....unfortunately...I want to stick with toyota...but can't pull the trigger on either one . Although crv is very tempting...because of comfort
The engine doesn’t whine in reverse - that’s the sound that’s on when I’m EV mode alerting people that your car is on and nearby! Sounds cool, like a spaceship! :)
@@miragexl007yeah, the Toyota drives and rides like a truck.. and tbh suspensions like this make me carsick …one reason I went with the CR-V - the ride is so much better, basically luxury SUV quality
The CR-V also drives really well for an SUV - the steering feel is almost as good as my Si’s I kid you not! It’s quite fun to drive on twisty roads!!
No spare tire or ventilated seats are deal breakers. Could care less about a panoramic moonroof or a 360 degree camera, I’m not operating a galactic spaceship. If I want a convertible and want the sun beating on me constantly I’ll buy a convertible.
These are features they should offer
that body line reminds me of the Rambler body line from the 60's .

@@HawkeyeRides Three months ago. The first thing I did when I got my Pilot was to replace the space saver spare with a full size rim and spare. I'd love to buy the Touring Hybrid but being in the middle of the desert with no spare is out of the question. You get a blowout which damages the rim too. Break out the fix a flat I guess.
Here in Europe, spare tires have been thrown away already 15 years ago. Only tyre seal kit included in the car. Are we still old fashioned there? Like using ridiculous inches and gallons in the 2020s.
I wouldn’t say old but some people like back up 👍
Ridiculous?...Please...stay in Europe. Lol
Spare tires when ya pop a tire in the middle of the Fucking desert without Cell service in Utah, are a pretty wonderful idea and convenience. (Coming from someone who lives in the Rocky Mountain region) Hope that Fucking helps.
@@fj681 If you live in the middle of nowhere, you do not drive hybrid SUV. Instead you have 3.0 liter turbodiesel, 200kW @ 600 Nm, towing 3500kg and consumption less than 10l/100km. Hope that Fucking helps.
This exact vehicle in this color. Or black. Would be a great addition to this big azz 2500 gmc lol. Great size AND mpg! I’ll have to buy a full spare or donut myself tho since Honda goofed that part lol
They are great on mpgs
The only way to resolve the tire issue is to simply buy an aftermarket donut kit and store in the cargo space.
This new CRV has such a refined interior, that I might be willing to make that sacrifice, rather than deal with a RAV4's plastic/appliance interior. I'm still shopping around though.
Good point 👍
I agree...but taking up some of that great space for a tire. Ughh
the ventilated would have really put it over the top.
I agree and that’s what we are all saying 👍
The no spare on 2022 and the same uncomfortable seats as my 2018 make this a tentative no go. It's also ugly compared to the 2018 with the boxy look. Also, the center console seems wider than the previous gen. and cheaper made which makes it like another knee banger plastic toyota.
It’s not everyone’s fav 👍
@@HawkeyeRides actually it is
@@jahmediastudios4061 for some yes and other no, nothing wrong with that
That engine sound is only on sport mode. On normal or Eco Mode crv is silent.
No I moved it back and forth to get that as for the drive part it does it on all modes. I was able to have it with low rpms and around 1,500/2,000 rpm 👍
The reason the hybrid doesn't tow as much is the weight of the batteries.
It’s not like it ever really towed much (1500lb 2022 model), it would be nice to have more towing because it’s a full refresh but the hybrid gets better MPG’s so it’s a tried off 👍
Am I the only one bothered by not having a spare tire on a SUV?
Seems like a lot have the same opinion
On a x-country road trip with a full size spare strapped down in the trunk. Usable space in the trunk is in the toilet. Will resort to a topper next trip. The only thing that pisses me off about the car is the spare. 5th crv since '03. '21 hybrid touring. 34 mpg hauling ass, but stay off of cruise control because the catapult launch to resume speed KILLS mpg. Quietest CRV we've had. Reminds me of my '76 Cutlass.
New subscriber. Nice review.
Thank you I appreciate that 👍
This suv is absolutely perfect wow
They are awesome 👍
the problem with this car is trying to find one to actually purchase
I agree 👍
You’re gonna have to wait, but I live in one of the busiest metro areas, and I was able to put a deposit down for one a month out pretty easily
They’re rolling out more now
What the heck is that middle seat belt coming out of roof? Ugh
It’s not the best location but you can click it off and it will stay in the roof of the truck
@@HawkeyeRides ok so only comes down when in use. Good to know, thanks.
Had a 2014 Subaru Forester and retracted as well, and rattled
Toyota's hybrid system is way ahead of Honda's 😢
Honda have improved a lot 👍
I have a 2019 crv exl. I hate the road noise in this car. Would not buy another CRV Because of the road noise.
They have improved it a lot more on the refresh 👍
You don't deserve better than a RAV-4 lumber wagon that gets stuck in an inch of snow.
I have 2019 crv. I changed the tires. Made a difference in the amount of road noise
I own a 2019 crv. If you put on better tires than what the crv came with . I noticed a small improvement
Trade it in for a new one! I have to say this is the quietest vehicle I’ve owned in terms of road noise! And yes, much quieter than a model 3!
The fact that ypu cant put the seats down flush is big time deal breaker for me ... i just made up my mind... probably going with samta fe
I would be nice to have a flare floor but it is a hybrid and this happen in some of them
This vehicle and the Prius are the top two for the theft of their cat converters which cost around $2,300.00 to replace.
Yes the older models they have made it a little harder to get
@@HawkeyeRides Like locking the garage door and leaving the key on a hook next to the lock?
This reviewer says it has a CVT.........Other reviewers say that it does not......SO....which is it.......Paul
It’s a e cvt
No mention of battery life and the replacement cost ??? Could be very expensive !!
It’s brand new with a warranty, each year it get cheaper so after warranty the price will not be what it is today therefore no need to mention as no one will pay for it till warranty is over 👍
I bought 2023 and it suck ..trade it in within 45 days ..get something better
Sorry to hear that
Did I miss it ... What's the "One BIG CON" ???
It's after the 3rd dislike around 12:32 ish time stamp
@@HawkeyeRides Ah... towing.. makes sense for those that do tow...
@@ptg01 that’s true but when I bought my new suv (I did tow before) I bought a luggage holder which holds over 1k pounds so I have more space inside. Which I am seeing this a lot more but my point is that you wouldn’t be able to hold over that weight and believe me a family of 5 can add some weight to luggage 😂👍
I have a 2022 CRV. I think the new design is ugly and so glad I got the 2022. It’s too boxy! The back looks good. But not thrilled with the rest.
Great vehicle overall 👍
What is the con? Don't have time to hear everything about the car 😂
My reviews are quicker then most so seat back and enjoy
So your One BIG CON is the waaa waaaa waaaa, engine noise? But, you just said it was kinda cool? So, it is a One BIG CON or is it kinda cool? /shrug...Ok, then your One BIG CON is then the dash? Or, the option up the tier? So what is the One BIG CON and are they really that big? I mean really?
If I said 3,4,5,6 cons it would make no sense 🤷♂️ so you pick which con you think is the biggest. It also has pros and a lot of information about this vehicle and different trims. I mean really🤷♂️ 👍
Take the info given as a gift, put on your big girl pants, say thanks for the Review and move on...
Got all options on crv about 1,000$ extra
The Touring trim is the way to go 👍
No fog lights as well.
Nothing’s perfect 👍
It has many cons!! You just discovered one? That color sure is fugly.
I explain them on the review if you watch it 🤷♂️
It doesn’t beat a Tucson in any department and costs 10k more.
Numbers don’t lie, MPG’s, cargo, interior room 🤷♂️
It beats a Tuscon immediately by being a Honda instead of a Hyundai :x
@@linnns7104 And it is so slow that it took 3 months to write that.
204 horsepower that's it
It is a hybrid
It has a CVT in the same way that a Tesla has a CVT.
Tesla has a one speed
The CR-V hybrid doesn’t have a CVT - it’s just marketing talk to convince ppl that it’s a regular car… the engine has a few fixed speeds when the engine is directly driving the car, but other than that, it’s free to rev at whatever speed it wants, and it drives the car by driving a generator for an electric motor when not in direct drive mode - so no transmission the vast majority of the time! The shifts you head are purely simulated and done so to make the car feel like a regular ICE, and it feels sportier and more engaging as a result !
Bumper doesn't look good at all
It’s not everyone’s fav
it is 8.4" ground clearance
It is between 7.8-8.2 inches
