ray ray in Germany that’s the reason why you have to take a specific amount of driving lessons, I think its areound 30. And when you do the test your drivers license will state if you are allowed to drive manual. Since automatic cars are more expensive they are also not that common, so having a drivers licenses in manual just adds flexibility. Sure automatic is very convenient for log distance driving but I don’t know anyone in person who cannot drive manual. Even the car rentals charge more for automatic.

She is amazingly patient and calm, even considering the camera crew. If I did any of the stuff this guy did when I was learning, my dad would have pushed me out the goddamn car
I guess. In like 5 seconds, one time. Hearing that stuff for the first time is hella confusing, then putting it into practice. When you teach someone new, you have to tell them like they're 5 years old. Sounds easy if you know how it works. That's why some people are great teachers, some are clueless. She explained it horribly to someone who knows nothing. Explained it fairly well I guess in general though. Even then she was very weird about explaining when to accelerate.
I have been watching this series for quite sometime and now I am sure that this is not how bring out the true self of the people rated worst by so many customers, when you rig them with so many cameras. It's obvious that the person will become conscious about he or she behaves and not really how they normally would do. I guess this guy should have gone undercover if he really did want to get to the bottom of those negative reviews.
devi seems like a nice driving instructor. she has a calm vibe about her, which is an attribute many anxious students will appreciate. the first driving class I ever did was with an old white guy who kept pulling the steering wheel away from me. he seemed to really want me to know that I was a bad driver. at the end of the lesson, when I told him I was not underage and therefore would not need to complete the driving hours component to get my license, he seemed to change his tune immediately and told me I was a good driver and that I would pass my test. some people are just out to get money. this woman seens legit.
Switching lanes by going for the order "signal, mirror, shoulder"? Wtf? First thing you do is check your mirror, then use your signal. ALWAYS check mirrors first, turning on signal doesn't mean you can and may switch lanes. The fact that these 'schools' can teach you how to drive a manuel after your driver's license is astonishing actually. In my country you get a seperate lincense if you did the exam with an automatic. You do the exam with a manuel you for sure can master an automatic, not vice versa.
“It’s always advisable when your making a tut you should use the break”. *insert clip of ken block approaching a hairpin turn at 120mph and sliding through it at 80 😂. Also it almost ripped my heart out when she said the clutch is your best friend 😂😂. Makes it sound like it’s a good thing to just bale standing on the clutch at all times no matter what
This was more like trying to ruin a business. I'm so glad she said " the call was not an emergency." She was patient, that was rude and unnecessary. Held up people in traffic that probably had real places to be and she was more concerned about her student's that are serious- why she left. This women did nothing wrong. and she let you burn up the Honda's clutch.
i wonder what she would've said if there wasn't obviously a camera on her, and she signed the release.. I'm willing to bet it would've more closely represented everyone else's reviews and experiences
I wonder if Taji and the makers of this series realize how untrustworthy Yelp is. If you have your business there and you're paying for their premium service then your negative reviews gets pushed back/removed so they're not seen. If you just have your business listed there and you're not paying Yelp, not only your negative reviews get pushed forward but Yelp themselves have been caught(by a fellow youtuber, search for "louis rossmann yelp") writing fake negative reviews. Fuck Yelp.
She looked fairly competent to be fair, no BS is just how I like it. You've done them a solid here showing them at work as the reviews look like bitter clients or ruthless competitors trying to sabotage their business. Thanks for the video dude.
I learned that you press your breaks and when you get to a certain rpm in my case i think it was 1000 in the little car i drove you press in the clutch so you don't wear the clutch and it doesn't stall. It's also a feeling, if the car starts jerking back and forward you know you're too late even if it's a gentle jerk 😂
“We’re in the car, we need to focus on that” best line I’ve heard in a long time and so true omg Taji sucks at driving manual love the content keep it up 👍
As someone who learned to drive a manual transmission before I had my own car this lesson should’ve happened in a parking lot first so he gets basic feeling for the car. And RIP to that. Clutch, ignition and starter.
this has to be editing! No way he's really just stopping in the lane blocking all those cars and trying to have a conversation. Those horns must be added, no freaking way!
As a german (our driving license needs mandatory lessons, a theoretical test, a practical test including parking, high speed motorway driving, etc) who only can attent driving lessons in a special car with pedals for the instructor, this is quite painful to watch. You basically learn everything on a manual from the start since many cars here are manual, and you’re only allowed to drive a manual if you passed the test with it...
As a person who drove for the first time ever in a standard car at 14 years old at 2am while my drunk uncle was instructing me while constantly telling me to pull into several different bars for shots and stop so he can pee on the side of the road (We live in the middle of nowhere, nothing but farms and forests) I don't understand why they would train someone who has never driven a manual transmission car in the city. They should at the very least do the initial training like learning how to get a feel for the clutch and gas ratio far far away from other cars and normal traffic, not to mention learning in such a forgiving space would allow the student the confidence necessary to relax. I couldn't even watch this episode after seeing where they're trying to teach a "beginner" a new skill that's so technical.
My driving instructor had me drive him around town while he ran errands and did a drug deal. We went to a really sketchy neighborhood, he went in a small house for like 20 minutes, came running out and jumped in the car yelling...GO GO GO!!! 😳
idk I feel like this would be a more enjoyable series without all the heavy editing. All the sound effects and obvious chopping of events takes away from the videos purpose of showing off one star services.
Man everybody knows people act differently on cameras. When you walk into a place and ask permission to shoot no one in the world will give worse service.
It’s time to set a reminder! A new episode of One Star Reviews is airing on October 22nd.

200odd300 He literally said it’s New York City
@@200odd300 i dont live in a country, i live on my street
8:30 yeh, that's acting. She probably paid that dude like $15 to say that.
Definetly got the vibe she was lying and paid him.
I remember my driving instructor kept bugging to give him a good review after I passed my test. I had to block his number I didn't find him to be that great but decided to stick with him as it was less hassle than finding someone new.
It’s probably her son
that cameo thing where you pay people a couple bucks to say something.
Sure thing Retzenberg
He’s legit gonna blow her car up. *CLUTCH BURRNN*
It’s bizarre how Americans can’t drive manual cars.
I know 😂hilarious.
Not bizarre when it’s not common?
ray ray in Germany that’s the reason why you have to take a specific amount of driving lessons, I think its areound 30.
Miss Mojo dude, automatic is dirt cheap in america used car can be as low as $1k
i thought of this too. in my country you have to be able to drive a manual car/motorcycle to get driving licenses
Title update: 'Student Deliberately Being Difficult for Yelp's Worst Rated Driving Lesson: Teacher Escapes **Not Clickbait**'. The point of highlighting the worst rated anything is to actually be a good customer and let nature take its course.... I felt worse for the company for putting up with this even after the 4 star review tbh
Don’t tell them what the point of their video is hahah, and you’re wrong btw, he tries to provoke every single business in this series to see if he can get a reaction
Yeah but you gotta think, what if a terrible driver goes into that school, she stayed patient and still worked with them, for a driving school business, being calm is key.
I don't think its deliberate, I am this bad at manual, I had my husband tearing his hair out.
@@KevinRAAMAAAGE Yeah the only sketchy thing was the phone call but maybe they even over-did that in the editing as well.
"Should we Drive now?"
*"Yep"*
*Proceeds to keep staring at Taji*
"uhm"
Whats up with the sound effects every time he stalls? Sounds like he’s grinding gears, not stalling
I guess the microphone didn't pick up stalling, no idea why they chose gear grinding though. Maybe the editor has no idea how it works.
That’s what I was wondering
there are a lot of added sounds in this that make it worse than it already is
Ummm no one is going to talk about how she just ran out without saying anything.. 🥱😐
Could have been edited tbf. Would understand if she said brb or something
@@InkyJuice yeah seemed like they were parked in front of the place she worked at and she probably told him hey i’m late for my next appointment and hopped out and ran to let the next guest know but they cut that out to make it “funnier” but it’s really messed up because that’s her place of employment and it’s pretty douchy to make them look worse than what’s already portrayed she seemed like a nice patient lady
@@lexir7504 Family owned business. It didn't effect her. She honest like she says to students because it's her families business. No businesses in America that is not family owned is going to employee nothing but Indians, looks who working there when he went in after she ran out the vehicle. Do you ever see an Indian in America? Rarely if ever
@@ThePeacePlant even if it’s a family business bad reviews are bad reviews .. i work for a family business and our rating on google is pretty important to keep at a 5 star rating... and i’m aware there’s family businesses and there’s lots of indians in america.. just like the family owned arab stores or asian stores..
The video title is “teacher abandoned me...” I think it’s implied.
he gave her a high review to make up for him being a bad customer. She was professional af. Taji is still the man.
bro i missed this guy so much
hes so good haha
@@GooeySausage agreed taji ftw
Hes tajicam on Instagram
I lowkey hate this show
BLANKZ i miss Hamilton
Boy said he struggles with automatics 😂😂😂
She is amazingly patient and calm, even considering the camera crew. If I did any of the stuff this guy did when I was learning, my dad would have pushed me out the goddamn car
She was low key pretty fucking chill
Dude her biggest mistake was not doing start stops in the parking lot before he got on the road. Step one to teaching a stick. Thats the hardest part
The lady is so calm and has so much patience! I’d be terrified if I was her, but she’s so chill!
I mean, if someone was driving like that I might abandon them too
She actually explained pretty well how to drive a manual 😂
Nick Diamantidis I guess if you ignore the part where she just left him in the car
Not really. Theres a reason he stalled three times at the beginning when she said to pull off the clutch too soon
My driving teacher was 95% of the time on his phone... but a wouldn’t have done it if he felt unsafe.
You’re just such a good driver you put him completely at ease?
Maybe he was jotting down notes? When i took my test they had a note pad, but that was a test and not school.
In my country it is illegal to use a mobile phone while supervising a learner driver
@@nerddub sure, i already had a motorcycle licence for 2 years. the only thing what was left, was to learn how to drive a four wheeled vehicle. :D
Weird flex but ok
The music composition in this series is amazing!
every single thing about this series is amazing!
Is this where everyone from the Street Gods series learned to drive?
OMFG HALCYON IM SUCH A FAN BRO
YOOO HALCYON
can they evne drive a manual ? XD
Makes it sound like it’s a good thing to just bale standing on the clutch at all times no matter what
finally some consistent uploads from h3h3
Alex thats who i though it was hah
miss puff's boating school with spongebob. 4:00
I stalled so many times when I first learned how to drive a manual transmission. I practiced on rural roads and in empty parking lots
My driving instructor made me cry. It was an old man that used to coach football. I’d say she wasn’t that bad.
“So this isn’t a guy you just hired...?” -“yeauuh”
Stopped in the middle of the road and constant honking...
Taji: Perfect time to talk about reviews!
Lmao I know this driving school. I pass by them everyday going to work. I had no idea they were rated so poorly lol
Fuck Yelp.
A driving instructor that allowed someone to remove the active headrests is freaking me out.
Her patience with his awkwardness is unmatched 😂
She looked fairly competent to be fair, no BS is just how I like it. You've done them a solid here showing them at work as the reviews look like bitter clients or ruthless competitors trying to sabotage their business. Thanks for the video dude.
I don't know about that clutch first, then apply brake advice.
I clutch first then work into brake
@@Indio3ce first clutch for no reason is actually a bad habit for your brakes and clutch, you only clutch when the car is about to stall
You are right. You are supposed to clutch just before it starts to stall, you want your engine to help brake.
BrianQ bruh pressing down the clutch wears it that car is just fucked up and can’t hold idle lmao
I stopped in a turning lane and turned on my hazards to watch this video like a good driver.
“We’re in the car, we need to focus on that” best line I’ve heard in a long time and so true omg Taji sucks at driving manual love the content keep it up 👍
Learning stick brings back memories! I used to hate stop signs and red lights! Drive an 88 sentra with no power steering lol
I love how he just happen to send her that video "yesterday"
All of them in this yelp series are so obviously set up, this one is a prime example being this lady and her video
As someone who learned to drive a manual transmission before I had my own car this lesson should’ve happened in a parking lot first so he gets basic feeling for the car. And RIP to that. Clutch, ignition and starter.
This series video editing is just something else. Its brilliant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Homie was defo high when he shot this ...for sure 😂
This 1-Star review is worth 5-Stars. The instructor is nice and friendly. She will help erase my bad driving record.
“Sorry I can’t talk right now I’m taking a driving lesson.”
“Ok great.” (Continues to talk about what they called for.) 😂😂😂
It was stage so, stop acting as this was a real phone call
this has to be editing! No way he's really just stopping in the lane blocking all those cars and trying to have a conversation. Those horns must be added, no freaking way!
It's really good editing.
Definitely! Those horns were for sure added in post.
it definitely was... even the sound when he was shifting sound was from an automatic😂
Taji's back probably hurts from carrying this channel on his back
Your brain must hurt from thinking of such an original and hilarious comment....
@@gstylez0107 yeah it does.. how u know?
She still seems better than one of my old driving instructors who made me drive to his house because he forgot something there.
I really don't see what is bad about that
As a german (our driving license needs mandatory lessons, a theoretical test, a practical test including parking, high speed motorway driving, etc) who only can attent driving lessons in a special car with pedals for the instructor, this is quite painful to watch. You basically learn everything on a manual from the start since many cars here are manual, and you’re only allowed to drive a manual if you passed the test with it...
7:47 the editing in this series is 10/10 lmfao
They should of taken him to a back road where he can actual learn
The CandyMan or an empty lot but hey this is 1 Star reviews
Look at him, you think that little dweeb has any coordination? Needs to stick with his nose in a book where it belongs
Where in new York do you find those

Yeah dude it's crazy that people dont even know what a manual is.. been driving one for years
@@Ben-cx5qp yessir, genz is someone born between 2001 and 2010
As a person who drove for the first time ever in a standard car at 14 years old at 2am while my drunk uncle was instructing me while constantly telling me to pull into several different bars for shots and stop so he can pee on the side of the road (We live in the middle of nowhere, nothing but farms and forests) I don't understand why they would train someone who has never driven a manual transmission car in the city.
Only reason I’m on vice now lol
This man needs his own channel
idk I feel like this would be a more enjoyable series without all the heavy editing. All the sound effects and obvious chopping of events takes away from the videos purpose of showing off one star services.
I think enhances it, actually
imo it shows how it's more so meant to entertain than to be serious journalism
Man everybody knows people act differently on cameras. When you walk into a place and ask permission to shoot no one in the world will give worse service.
True, although the tango guy still kept to his old habits. Would be cool to see a hidden camera version of this
Not saying I am a good teacher, cuz I'm not.... but neither is she.
