- Tim Keller sermons via Gospel in Life: When Paul prays for the Ephesian church, he does not pray for an improvement in their external circumstances. Rather, Paul prays for God to grant the members of the Ephesians church a profound internal knowledge of the depths of God's love. Paul prays that the doctrines that the Christians intellectually believe would become experientially real to their hearts.

Thank you Lord for leading me to this message from 34 years ago.
Thank you so much. I am grateful for Tim's life and service
Behold the amazing gift of love
the Father hath bestowed
on us, the sinful sons of men,
to call us sons of God!
Concealed as yet this honor lies,
by this dark world unknown,
a world that knew not when he came,
Even God's eternal Son.
High is the rank we now possess,
but higher we shall rise,
though what we shall hereafter be
is hid from mortal eyes.
Our souls, we know, when he appears,
shall bear his image bright,
for all his glory, full disclosed,
shall open to our sight.
A hope so great and so divine
may trials well endure,
and purify our souls from sin,
as Christ himself is pure.
For me this message is essential. I live in challenging times right now. Ephesians 3 speaks to me about hope and growing like Jusus´disciple.
If our Faith is truly strong, then nothing ultimately matters at all.
I see your point, John. You´re right. It isn´t easy but is the way to maturity
Thank you for this great message. What an amazing mercy we have,we can have intimate relationship with the Lord :)
Praise the Lord!! What He gave!! The length and width and depth and height of His love - magnificent!!
Ooo, this is just what I needed. A "snap out of it" moment! Thank you
