Hi Justine, I am “older”, so I craft with others since we all lose our items together and have a lot of fun laughing about it! Plus, when crafting with others, even in a class, it amazes me what others come up with!

I love to craft at times in the quiet and then I enjoy crafting while listening and watching crafting videos in my craft room.. I just learned today how I can use my stencils and run those through my die cutting machine or embossing machine to emboss my card stock.. It brings stenciling a whole new life.. Happy crafting..

I mostly love to craft with friends so I do a lot of crafting "out and about". When I do craft at home and my husband is around he usually has the TV or a UA-cam video going. When I'm by myself I love to listen to Jonathan Antoine - his voice is magnificent!

All of your techniques look like fun. I've only tried vellum as a belly band. The gold heat embossing was beautiful. When I craft I'm like you I listen to many different things but often I enjoy the quiet. Thanks for the inspiration.

Crafting videos on UA-cam, Netflix or now that we are in isolation again, due to Covid, I will do a video chat with my 5 year old granddaughter. She crafts at her house and I craft at mine. Sometimes we chatter away, but often we craft in silence, focused on the cards we are making. Because I can't be at her house (Covid) this has become a precious and I LOVE it!

I guess the thing I listen to most when crafting is audible books and music. The type of music I listen to, as I craft, depends on my mood. I have watched many videos and shows too. Thanks again fir all the wonderful videos. Good luck on the unpacking. It can be such a chore.

Interesting new ideas about vellum and great video !!!
The answer to one of your questions: I love the silence...when people get too
distracted by listening to something totally different from what they a doing they do not find the focus - my opinion...on the other hand you can get into the mood by some music...but TV or audio-books leed your attention to much away from your project. Greetings from Germany :-)

I use Canson 90 gr/m vellum (don’t have many choices in my country) and I’ve never had any problems with stamping on it with an acrylic block and pigment inks like Ranger Archival or Hero arts. It takes only couple of minute to dry fully.
Also, you can make vellum die cuts to embellish for your projects.

I tried Marabu at Creative world. I also really like them. The new ones have a super fine tip so I'm waiting for those to come out since you can get a lot of control over them. The colours seem super bright.

Thank you so much Justine, that was really really useful and helpful. I really really love 💕 the embossed gold flower on the vellum.....I listen to lots of different things whilst crafting. If I craft late at night I craft in complete quiet 🤫 as my husband is sleeping 💤 next door. xxx Mags

Great techniques 😻 I love your beautiful cards. I sit in the living room & craft, my husband is watching TV, so TV is my background 😂 ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx

I like to listen to the Beatles or an audiobook! My favorite Vellum technique was the duo gel!

Thanks for giving me more uses for my vellum! I really need to get it out more :)
I binge TV shows when I'm crafting. I'm currently going through Kim's Convenience on Netflix. I may not craft with the same speed as others, but I do enjoy my relaxing time.
