    In the past years Mark has been taking the problem of obesity very serious. I love how he addressed the issue. Bodybuilding became this pregnant lady contest so quickly that no bodybuilder touches the topic of overweight.
    We are in a generation where powerlifters are much more aesthetic than the top end of bodybuilders...

    I'm not going to believe someone talking about lifting heavy ass weights is beating your body up
    I carried logs for 12 years, I never grew size. But nobody was stronger than me. Sure in the gym they were. But that just took learning and technique.
    Repetitions are just repetitions. They don't harm or help your body anymore than anything else life throws at you. It's a double-edged sword.
    I think over time lifting weights can be very good for you, because it provides great therapy and a continual growth for patience and it grows your intellect through personal experience.
    But you can't honestly believe that going to the gym or training is going to force you to push your body to the limits and beyond, More than when you had a real job and a real struggle. Remember when the stakes are higher you were going to lose your house or place to stay, barely had enough money for baby formula ? Where you literally scraped tooth and nail. Take that experience with you to your workout. Thats what drives you, and will push you harder than anyone else or thing ever could do.
    If you go to the gym and fool yourself thinking that you or someone else going to push yourself beyond anything that anyone else ever has done that's a lie. You're probably not even there in the gym to work hard.
    It's only real work when it dug down deep into you.
    And I don't know how you can think two hours in the gym is a real job and even for 6 or even 8 hours 5 days a week 6 days a week 7 days a week that's not a real job. What is there mental about that ? That's chump change. That's the same repetitions.
    It's getting sad you...you're going to eat, you know you're going to live you know you're not going to die in fact you know you're going to make gains.
    Out here as a truck driver the last 4 years I'm driving close to 11 hours a day, that's mental.
    I'm working on my feet another Solid 3 hours at least moving hoses and product and at the end of the day calculating my buiseness expenses which all in all pushes my day past 14hours.
    And my week is not a seven day week it's 8 days. And 90% of these Motherfuckers out here are not healthy but they're pulling long days as well...so how is that that you can put 2 4 6 8 hours a day in the gym 7 days a week and these guys can put in twice as much for eight days a week and yet both of you all look TERRIBLE and are still dying at an unhealthy rate ?
    It's because the mentality is wrong and you've been taught that it's a job and job is a job. Bodybuilding is not a job it's a lifestyle. Trucking is not a lifestyle it's a job. Nothing has changed, get the guts in check Plz

    • @MrOPM-vc6ow
      @MrOPM-vc6ow 6 років тому

      Dusty Roads first off if you get paid or your making a living off of bodybuilding than it is a job/career etc. yea at the same time it is a lifestyle just as much as someone could say your job/situation is a lifestyle. 🤷🏾‍♂️ you sound bitter about your life and your job. If you don’t like what your doing in your life than make changes buddy. I’m pretty sure you included and over half the world could make money for bodybuilding you and everyone else would do it. No more hundred hour days right?

    • @dustyrolls1983

      BJ Isaac
      Nah man see your attitude is just like the rest it's all wrong. You got things backwards. look that's how you think and that's how people think nowadays that's the mentality. And that mentality does not build characteristic. And that is what is lacking. And so you say I must be bitter ?? Bitter about what the fact that I've seen and done more than you could in 10 lifetimes ?? Bitter about the fact that I go where I want to go primarily when I want to ?? Bitter about the fact that I get to travel for free Weatherby to the Mr Olympia or any other competition or concert of my choice. Bitter about the fact that I make over $140, 000 a year ??? Sure it's long hours, but like I said bro it's just a job.

    Athletes should be allowed to do steroids. Yes they know the dangers but also know the unbelievable benefits. Funny how cigarettes kill the people smoking them and the people who are around the people who smoke yet that's ok. I never heard of someone dying from second hand steroid inhalation. If you don't like steroids then don't use them but don't point the finger at people who want to get stronger, look better, increase their self confidence, and be better all around athletes. Steroids would be legalized if the government got tax money from it.

    • @FinixMovieCompany
      @FinixMovieCompany 6 років тому +1

      Wow... How uneducated. Use steroids cause a highly increased level of aggressivity (crime as abuse of girlfriend, friends or random people). I can give you a link on that but it is in swedish. Can also make (for men) breast tissue to grow and testicles shrink. Depression and anxiety is also very common for steroid users (after using for a while). A drive to become leaner, stronger and bigger can cause lack of confidence bc you know when you stop steroids you will never become that big again without the drug which can cause an addiction.

    • @myname849

      @@FinixMovieCompany A whole lot of garbage misconceptions from one with, I assume, no firsthand experience. I've run multiple cycles and I've never put a hand on anyone. hawg427 Insulin gives the pancreas a rest and helps protect the beta cells. The reason bodybuilders need insulin is because they use HGH which makes them insulin resistant. It's a good tool to use.

      Why would he need to promise the best pharmaceutical grade anabolics? If you are in contact with well renowned coaches in the industry, you can get UGL grade products which are usually overdosed compared to pharmaceutical grade. Unfortunately there’s a lot of fake or severely underdosed UGL suppliers out there, but anyone with half a brain and has been in the scene long enough can find a good supplier. Not to mention most competitors to get into contest shape are using stuff that isn’t FDA approved, so not available from pharmaceutical companies. Maybe pharmaceutical grade growth hormone he could have access to, but truth is most bodybuilders are broke and can’t afford pharmaceutical grade HGH in the supraphysiological doses guys are using today such as 5-10iu a day.

    People must start to realize that steroids and mostly known acidic anabolic foods (like read meats, fast digesting/highly glycemic carbohidrates, sugar etc.) and any other substances which promotes an acidic body state and inflammation will always aid in the muscle building process because when the body is highly acidic it must compensate by retaining lots of water as an anti-inflammatory mechanism (which brings also strength or power to cells as water is highly electrically conductive - the inflammatory difference between men and women makes the last live longer). But chronic body inflammation states (the same we see in obesity) will hijack ones bioelectrical system and create danger to the heart and cells as these need an acid-alcaline balance to maintain electrical balance and ideal function, acidic states will rob cells from oxygen/energy and kill mithocondria which will leave people in chronic desease states, more proned to viruses, bacteria, depression and addictions in general (states demanding a chemical compensation for the lack of ideal body cells working). The good news is, strong cells mithocondria will make strong body electrical conductivity and strong mind-body connections leading to incredible strength/power/stamina even if there is not much inflammation and water retention aka size gain going on (lean, strong, healthy bodies over big bulky fragmented bodies and minds).
