- Bald Day at Gallaudet University is a tradition where freshmen shave their heads. It all started when a student had cancer and went bald.
Over the years it has evolved into different purposes with it mainly being for fun reasons.
Imagine going into your freshman year at Gallaudet University ALREADY bald due to alopecia? Meet Annabelle Scroggins, a beautiful soul who prides herself as a bold person with alopecia. We had an impromptu chat while I was on campus about her thoughts of how her classmates were dealing with Bald Day.
