Gabriel Goldsack from Share A Bike Share A Smile is not your average human. He commits his time to helping create opportunities for underprivileged kids throughout the world, all through the medium of BMX. Whether it's getting bike parts to countries with no access to BMX or creating workshops for new riders, he's constantly giving his time to putting back.
In partnership with Vans, 'Let's Ride' is his latest endeavour, going even further, getting refugees and kids at risk of social exclusion into skateparks and on bikes. Gabriel sat down to explain more about the program, the challenges they face, the lessons they have learnt and the awesome workshops they ran recently at The Loading Bay in Glasgow, Mellow Park in Berlin, and Bijan's in Luxembourg.
We're seriously lucky to have Gabriel and Share A Bike Share A Smile in BMX!

No, the war was happening (and still is) in Ukraine. Lots of people left Ukraine and Russia and went to Georgia (and other countries) because they don't want to be involved in the war.
It is great thing what you are guys doing. But there is a lots of kids in Europe and they need that kind of support also. Not saying that you should stop cooperate with places like Algeria or African countries, but for the reason of political correctness kids from Europe appears to be ignored.
That's why we did this project in Europe. We did it in Germany, Luxembourg and Scotland 😉❤️
