Awesome, has me thinking about getting permissions for similar experiences - (we don't have automatic access to the nature reserves, state forests, private farms etc. that a lot of our best roads are on)
It looks like a local route we do to Santa Cruz, Sonora and back to Nogales, it is 1000mts of steeps and a long flat and fast downhill, but also a final section through a river with bogs and sand. My XC bike easily reaches 50mph it's crazy 💀 You would love such route
Hi, what is the name of the road? Is it near Caliente or Alta Sierra? Any information would be appreciated. I know the description says it's near Bakersfield, but this is obviously somewhere in the foothills east of Bakersfield. Thanks!
Comanche Point. Runs from the back of Stallion Springs down to Arvin. Great out and back ride. Or... descend this and then ride up The Bear which is just to the north off of 223. great loop.
Awesome video y'all, however I can see where I could do waaay better, and I'm not exaggerating, I'm being serious. You should come down to College Station, Texas to do a video with me, I've got a sweet 61cm 2008ish Bianchi Pista Steel Framed Track Bike that I ride on the streets using all legs to slow down. You'd be amazed by what I can do, I really have been trying to get my entry into professional racing in motorsports but maybe you could help me out, I'm sure I could do some amazing things on one of those $70,000 bikes lol. 😉 I'm being 100% serious, I've been studying car racing videos for yeaaaars and practicing in cars too but I just got this track bike about a year or so ago and I used to get around in Austin on a fixie conversion with front brake for a few years but man I know I'm easily one of the best in the world, if not the best, at driving and it really carries over to cycling as well and I'm pretty sure you guys are some of the top pro's and I just see so many ways I know how to do better in the turns and such and I'm in amazing physical shape. I kinda just started making videos but I might start using an old GoPro Hero 3 soon to show some of what I can do. I'm also talented in many other areas and I'm hoping you can help me make it big!
As usual from Safa, little to no regard for the safety of anyone else, e.g. if someone were to come the other way. But it looks like you had a nice time, so no problem.
location and context matter... expert bike handlers in the middle of nowhere on gated off gravel roads. Look at all the narrow misses with pedestrians they had.
SAFA is UA-cam's best cycling content. Period.
This is so fun to watch and usually bike videos are booring. Somehow you managed to make it like enjoyable as like i drive with you.

@24:15 quick time event
I love when cyclists moan about the state of the roads and then decide to ride on that crappy stuff🤡🤡🤡🤡
