Thalys Comfort Class Train from Paris to Brussels, Belgium | Exploring Brussels

It was a bittersweet goodbye to Paris but I was off to Brussels! I spent my last morning in Paris staring down the street and packing. We soon arrived at Gare du Nord to catch the Thalys train to Brussels. Our room was already available so we decided to settle in a bit before venturing around the city. I was offered the newly renovated room with the marble bathroom. My mom and I got so much chocolate but we needed real sustenance. There were so many restaurants trying to reel us in... many offered similar main dishes. My mom spotted Drug Opera while we were walking and it's a huge establishment in the heart of the city; the food was delicious! We then continued exploring the city and got more chocolate! Something else I had to pick up was a Belgian waffle!
