Play for the story. Play as a side game, so don’t worry about pulling for characters. A short term game you can come back to when more content comes out. Only gacha and navigation really sucks. Everything else is pretty fire

last event 14days i hate it. i had 690/700 and event just ended. deployment once on 7hourse and i dont know about it. too many quest for one event

Thats true. When I roll all my tickets and tell to my self that if i will not get tatsumaki i will quit the game. Hehehe. The only thing i hate with this game is the rewards. It is not satisfying.
I only play the fun task and mission.
Had to play the story mode slowly cuz i would definitely got bored after they're done.
If it's done, the last thing i would do is upgrade but i won't cuz i wanna use it on a strong character. But...
I still didn't get any so what's left is my patients.
I think i would only last 2 months, that's the longest if I'm busy for work and I'll leave the game as well.
Storage usage was f*ckin huge for an uncompleted story mode, it doesn't even Finnish season 1 wow that's so messed up😂
Honestly, this game reminds me of my experience with Honkai Impact 3rd. So much grinding, so many rules and instructions that you can barely understand, a very poor gacha system where you have to constantly grind out the game's currency to summon and pray for a character or buy expensive packs, etc
Maybe give the game more time? Honkai right now is so f2p friendly

You literally sums up what I've been feelimg while playing this game, it is such a hassle to complete missions in this game. Not that it is hard, but it is so out of place.
Gameplay wise, it is cool, graphic so good but yeah that's about it. Currency/Gems is so damn hard to farm. Gacha rate sucks. Maybe in few months i will play it again
All in all, there are other gacha games which miles better than this especially Bleach Brave Souls. Easy and lots of ways to farm gems, enjoyable events every 2 weeks, constant new characters and even revamp old characters etc.
Others like Black clover mobile is so enjoyable too, glad it worth all the wait for this game. Everything seems good in this game, lots of reward, gacha is good, pity is good, lots of event etc.
My Hero Ultra Impact still better than this OPMW.
I don't understand people who say that it is difficult to get coins, this is one of the most f2p friendly games I have played, there are coins everywhere, playing f2p you can easily get tatsumaki in 120 shots, you can get more than 100 shots in the normal banner and they give you 2 ssr just for playing and you will still have some coins left over, there is even a game mode called “abyss” that gives you 100 to 1000 coins per week depending on how you play. I played Genshin Impact for the same amount of time and in all my playing time I was only able to get one 5 star character, in OPW i have 5 SSR and there is a lot of content that i still didnt play.

I only played this game for about 1-2 hours and I quit after, I loved the idea of it but just seemed pretty lacklustered at the start
100% agree here, I'm team level 41 so I feel like I have a very similar experience. I absolutely no lifed and got pity on terrible tornado.... and then got puri puri prisoner instead. Ever since my pities have been puri puri prisoner again and then puri puri prisoners SSR arms. I'm not joking lol. The grind has felt so pointless and honestly I think I might only be able to pull one limited character in my entire game career without spending any money, because at some point I'll run out of silver to earn. or maybe ill get full potential on puri puri prisoner because the game hates me lol. It's sad too, because the gameplay for each character is actually good.
Also, a tip beating the super hard bosses -- Use a character that can accurate dodge/block. I used spring mustachio and just accurate dodged every attack on the three bosses to win lol. He also can accurate dodge whilst doing an attack and it won't interrupt it, so he's really good tbh.
Yea this was spot on I’m about where you are in this game and it’s just not fun. I also got 60 draws and didn’t get a free SSR item I got a mumem rider card and was like I got scammed
f2p, team level 75. I have Saitama, ZombieMan, Tatsumaki, Metal Knight, SOnic, Silver Fang. But i Barely use the SSRs Except for GENOS CoJ. You can literally do the hardest contents with the Free characters, Lightning Max and Smile Man. super f2p Friendly. sitting at 359 Achievement Count and more to get today.
Im happy with the game for the moment, so far so good, im level 62 and 6 SSR, its not that trash, glad you quit so i don't see any of this complains with any game, bye

So the gameplay is meh, the Gacha system is overly greedy and the pity is actually trash because you're not guaranteed a character even with pity.

I just login daily, do a free single pull then quit. Playing it hella casually until a lot of good changes come to the game.
The $999 character tick thing is most def a joke referencing saitama and his bargain day deals but the game is still expensive if you wanna be p2w (even though there is no pvp) but we'll see if the prices for anything ever change
Yeah, this was a sad thing to see; I'm a huge OPM fan - in my top 5 anime of all time for sure - but even I knew this game was just going to be a sad state of affairs on the build-up to release. I really wish they just put this kind of energy into making a proper game for console and PC rather than this mobile gacha nonsense but I guess this is the way it's going to be for many franchises in the future, it's such a shame. I know the fighting game OPM put out a couple years ago was not received very well but at least there was a proper game there, for better or worse, so perhaps in the future at some point if OPM s3 does well, there might be a chance for it to have an actual game again at some point rather than another mobile cash-grab like this for the umpteenth time. Appreciated this video to let me know I made the right move on sitting out from it - it hurts me physically to not get involved in OPM when it's right there, but this game made it too easy to know it was not heading in a healthy direction. 😂
Sameeeee, tried to do each day dailys and proceed with everything, but I don't have that much time through the day to play, then my serious training went from 2 days to 10 hours after mainteinance, couldn't do it, uninstalled.
I got lucky, 10 first pulls got Tatsumaki and Hellish Blizard, I think there are 3 things I don't like about the game, first the "weapon" system, in other Gachas you can use weapons from other characters or f2p weapon, in OPMW you can only use the character signature weapons and SSR is the most interesting so You must pull for the character and the weapon, I got Tatsumaki but since I don't have a decent weapon she is the weakest toon in my team. Second thing is "everybody is DPS", I played many games and I miss the tank/healer/debuffer/amplifier thing, it becomes boring because all characters deal damage and many characters heal so to me at least it's becoming really boring, doesn't matter the toon you'll get he will be a dps, and the third thing is the high difficulty of challenges for getting really low rewards, I'm stuck in a mision that I can't take more than 10 hits to get something like 10 silver... okay many people will say I need to evolve my game skills but to me is easier to go back to other games that are "easier" and with better rewards, I really don't like so much challenging games, I just tried because the anime and I love RPGs but today I'm just casual, do my dailies, use all the daily energy and turn off the game, and I won't even mention that panzer world 3 minigame that is harder than the game itself
I had so much fun at first, the combat system is lit AF but then everything just went down hill. Not really a surprise though, coming from Crunchy roll. I hate stupid chores the most, I just fail to understand how the idea of running around the map to find some stupid ass thing a fun idea. I don't mind grinding for resources in dungeons, every game have that but running around finding stupid ass shit just tilt the f out of me. what a shame, it could have been a great game to last but well... knowing that they are from Crunchy Roll... I doubted...

just login daily, spend the stamina on auto farming the pieces, do 3 team battle for 5x loot/memory. then pull the daily free
Have yet to see it be p2w. The gacha is slow but the character pool is also small. And there’s no direct pvp. You can play at your own pace and be fine
I got lucky too, But if you didn't get anything or finish serious mission then I would probably quit too

Explain how me, a f2p is in the top 200 players? If your statement about being p2w was true, I wouldn't be lvl 67 with 6 SSRs.
Besides, Maelstorm gives solid ammount of silver per week! Not to mention other modes + events + story, side quests, bosses, etc.
Have you tried the game enought? Porbably not. Otherwise, you would see the silver income is there if you farm it.
Oh, one more thing. I have 32k f2p silver.
Most of the people crying are the ones who want things fast and easy and gave up before pushing far enought in the game to SEE there's silver :D
@@Carlos-km1xd Agree with this, I am just diligently clearing achievements, and collectibles, exploring the world, and doing the challenges. And I got P1 Tatsumaki + arms + others SSRs from the standard banner. People are too lazy to play and want their free gacha without effort and "F2P".
Aside from the gacha that is not good ( I agree with this because it seems the pity of the limited banner will not continue to the next banner ). We actually get a lot of the currency from the maelstorm battle ( which will be reset weekly ), daily minigames (I assume the shop will be reset monthly), and a FREE pull on the standard banner EVERY DAY! Which will guarantee us to get SSR in 2 months ( + we get at least 3 free tickets a week from maelstorm if you try a bit to get the minimum score ). My calculation to get an SSR (50-60 pity) is around 15 days of playing which is really fast in my opinion. ( + other events like this Valentine thing that will give us more silver coins and tickets).
We may not get a lot of silver coins resources, but we get them in the form of free tickets. This game is about diligently playing the game to make the heroes stronger.
Just don't be lazy.
This game has good battle mechanics, but of course people will criticize the gacha system. All we can do is just spam the survey and tell them to improve their gacha systems.
Great game, horrible publisher. monetization is insane. If you are abig spender sure. if not, not worth the time. 60 pity at a cost of 2600 per multi is horrible. at 1200 for a 10 pull then sure
No voice-overs horrible character acquisition methods. And tedious running a back and forth is pretty weird
fun combat i enjoy how getting on the leaderboards is super easy though because its still early in the game
Kinda like what they did to MHA strongest hero. Limited open world exploration, heavy pay to win if you want SSR characters and the devs hasn't done anything new ever since I quit the game which was over a year ago
MHATSH was way better than this it was way easier to do any and everything in that game but yeh the devs were stupid to let it die

The game is fun. I dont know what you guys are crying about. There is no pvp. I mean its one of the worst gacha mechanic so far, dont get me wrong. But the game itself is beautiful. You can relax while playing it.
i didnt quit on my own accord, the game was fine since day 1 until 6 days ago for me, suddenly, the game got black screen startup problem, my pc is overspec so its not a me problem, apex legends, the finals, way above 100 fps max settings, so this game definitely not at that lvel of graphics. good thing maybe, i really want to play the game, even completed the serious training event and got the ssr selection hero drop, but with this game quality, meh
I feel the same way you do about the game. They make it hard to understand how to play and I quit right away. It seems like it could be a great game if done right. But I have to admit it is pretty trash.
I can understand your reason for leaving the game, like how it's not open world and all. I love open world games, too, but it's also largely the reason I quit Genshin Impact, as it became too much of a chore to do the daily grind in that huge world, along with the domains that open on certain days, so I just gave up. With OPMW having smaller separate zones but accurately recreated the places from the source materials just feel really good.
I also completely agree on the atrocious instructions in this game. Half of the time I had no idea what to do to complete certain tasks and missions and I had to look up UA-cam or guides on the net. I really have to applause people who could make sense of some of the obscure stuff to make the guides LOL. The collection was fun at first, too, but then some of them are just too damn tedious, like Daily Touring, where you have to find various heroes out and about. I really enjoyed it at first, thinking about how I could run into random heroes while exploring, until I learnt that their appearances are locked by the time and day of the week (just like the domain in Genshin...) and they also show up in some random stores and buildings. So, without a guide, you'd have to spend all your time looking at every single places from morning to dusk till night, every single day to find them all. WHAT A PAIN!
Combat wise, I actually really enjoy it (more than Genshin, in fact) as each characters have their own unique mechanisms to be different enough, rather than just spamming attacks and rely on stacking the effects from the ultimates and whatnot. It's all about 'timing' from the perfect dodge, perfect guard, boost gauge, parry, etc. I love such timing mechanics in games (especially parrying, every games should have parrying, even a dating sim!).
Then there's the fact that I just managed to pull Tornado right before her banner ends, so that encourages me to keep playing even more. Honestly, had I failed to pull her, it might have killed my motivation to play this game quite a bit. LOL (just like how I failed to pull Raiden Shogun was the last straw that made me quit Genshin after deciding to give it a go one last time...).
there are barely gacha games with such combat system, i agree this one is quite fun. but seeing how you write all these, just to complain about petty things is quite pathetic. i doubt you really enjoy open world games.
if you really like this type of combat games, i suggest PGR and Aether Gazer.

I had to summon 5 pitys worth to even get the worst characters that’s like 300 or more summons to pull all the impressions and characters I did not want and that were free so wtf was the point of getting to level 50 😂rates so fucking bad I’ll never play this shit game again

I decided to refund and quit the game as well! It was really fun the first weeks but it became boring just like Honkai Star rail! The side quest to me were really boring and feel like Hassel to do. The daily was time consuming to me. Just in my opinion an gacha without pvp or guild is not worth my grind. Otherwise I rather go play final fantasy rebirth and save hundreds of dollars
Tbh the game has the best combat of any anime game that has come out every character doesn’t play the same and even if they have the same mechanic aka the perfect dodge or block it’s animations and attacks unique to that unit not recycled animations this isn’t a game where your meant to get every unit even tho it’s possible I’m F2P and the only units I’m missing is dreamworld saitama and metal knight most you get world silver from hot take battles from the red enemy battles scattered across the map for leveling up in the the mini games And maelstrom it’s a few different ways to get world silver to garuntee you to go to pity for tatsumaki banner you just have to grind the same with black clover mobile except that’s even more tedious all you do is grind gear and your expectations are to big for a mobile game of course it will have to have limited exploration the game is already big any bigger than it would be all bad for mobile players especially for future updates the only thing I would say they do wrong is how we gain world silver but i can see why they do it the game itself is f2p you can clear everything with sr units
