It says on the box 4K@60 input resolution and 1080p@30hz output resolution. As I mentioned I am not an expert but the only thing I would know is that I am having limitation issue since my laptop does not on the higher specs. And at the same time my monitor is only at 1440p.
This may sound like a dumb question, but how can you be recording gameplay on OBS and playing a game on you’re TV at the same time if the PS5 only has 1 HDMI port? If I want to record gameplay but play it through my TV, will I need an HDMI splitter?
Thanks for asking. But don't worry, I'm also a learner same as you and the best tutorial I have ever saw was from Andrew Wall. You will also learn more from him. I just don't wanna try it on my laptop that I have now since it's not that high in specs. Please watch his video on this link👉. ua-cam.com/video/Tb_pjDEdy1c/v-deo.htmlsi=sKtIcqI773Hxp4_S
Go to Sources. Click on the plus sign. Then click on the video capture device. Then click OK or name it as you like. Then on the first bar which says device, set it to USB video.
@@RawlandUy i just found the solution to my problem. Switching off the HDCP on HDMI settings of PS5. im using UGREEN 4K Video Capture Card. the one with hdmi in and out
Hello again! I recently bought a UGREEN capture card that captures 1080p 60fps. However, when I hook everything up, the HDR on my PlayStation is turned off! Do you know why this happens, and how I could fix this? The capture card I have is a CM630.
Thanks for asking. Im also a begginer, and I dont usually do hdr, just a straightforward video. However, I saw one video saying you need to go to properties for video capture device and look for video format and set to P010 and the colour space to Rec. 2100 (PQ).
You don't wanna do that. If you have already a 120hz capable monitor, just stick with it. Aside from the delay you're getting from a controller plus the delay of using the card, I'm not sure how are you going to describe it.
hi.. i tried using the ugreen capture card with hdmi input and hdmi output but it doesnt display on my 55inch samsung tv but i could hear the audio sound from the obs software on my laptop. can you please help me out on how to configure
Hi sorry for ask. I use this on my ps4 slim and it gave me the display but no audio. I already change the audio output mode but nothing happen. Can i get ur help if possible?

Try to go to the settings under the Source box. Then on the window which pops up, scroll to the last option which is the audio output. Select wave out.
will this record audio from discord audio chat plus the game audio?
hi, how is the quality? is this can give same quality as output to monitor or lower than original quality?
Can you show us the resolution and framerate of this ugreen capture card?

@@RawlandUy what about in OBS video capture device source. What exactly resolution and frame rate can it support for your device?
@BroSKGaming22 It indicates, Base (Canvas) Resolution - 1920x1080. Output (Scaled) Resolution -1920x1080. Common FPS Values - 60.

@mattbailey7832 Yes, you can use the splitter, one going to monitor while the ps5 is going to the laptop/pc with the capture card.
@@RawlandUy Thank you, sir👍🏻
@mattbailey7832, just make sure you will get the compatible splitter like this one.ua-cam.com/users/shorts1RtyrRhjOog?si=DaeazSiApPBvnUFX

Thanks for the response, really appreciate it! Will watch the linked video.
it can reach 18080 60fps with usb c port
does this will effect your laptop.. i mean cause of heating or sum.. or it use the console itself??
In my short video recording, I never had an issue about overheating. I'm not sure yet about making longer videos.
I try it in my ps4... but only color stripe show. Any tricks or tips do make it work?

@Jspr_ OK. I also mentioned it in the video.

Does the video capture overheat? And if so, after how many hours?

is this 1080/30 fps only?
1080@60fps
Does it give smooth 60fps?
How do I capture my screen with my laptop and simultaneously display the game on my monitor? Wouldn’t I need two hdmi cable?
You need to use an HDMI splitter. It works.
My one doesn’t work with the screen capture it only works with audio any tips?
Did you set the "device" as USB Video or did you disable the HDCP on the PS5.
How much delay?
I'm not sure how much though there might be some players who can appreciate it, but it's 100% sure that it cannot be played with FPS games.
Just use a splitter
@@johnny_bangwhat is that

Yes, there is. But you don't want to play with it like competitive gaming right. For me, it's enough for recording gameplay.

Check ps4 settings maybe? I have a question also, is there any significant delay between the controller and what shows up on the screen?
Yes there is. It is not advisable to use it competitively when you're recording.

Will it work on HP Laptop 15s, AMD Ryzen 3 5300U, 15.6-inch (39.6 cm), FHD, 8GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, AMD Radeon Graphics
?
You might have an issue with the GPU as the OBS min requirement is Radeon RX 400.
@@RawlandUy It'll probably work, I've run OBS on lower HW than his for desktop recording - Core 2 Quad Q9400 w/ Radeon R7 265X, and it ran just fine.
