- I came back to RDO after a year long break and decided to update my beta character. I've been getting requests on PSN for character sliders so I thought I'd share them here. I hope you enjoyed the video :) BETA CHARACTER: • [BETA] Red Dead Online...

For the people having trouble with “looking differently” make sure the “Narrow, High, Wide, Low,” ect. Are on the same place as the vid. If they are switched for example: in the vid it’s “High” up “Wide” right “Low” down “Narrow” left and in your game the “High” is down and the “Low” is up. Make sure you just reflect the dot, so if the dot is in the vid all the way to right up in the corner but your “High” and “Low” are switched put it in the right down corner.

I dont get it. You mean that if for example in the vid "High” up then I should put "High” down ? Because I did all “Narrow, High, Wide, Low,” the same as in vid but still looks different :(
So basically when she puts the dot in the top left or something I put it in the bottom right?
I don't understand what you're trying to say, it's very confusing. No offense intended. Could you try re-explaining it in a more comprehensible manner?
@@yeoericeric217 He meant that the parameters might be mirrored. So if the parameter in the video that adjusts Narrowness is to the left for example, make sure it's to the left in your game as well.

Now THIS is how a character creation video should be. I hate seeing vids where I watch them make the character. Fuck dat shit. I wanna see the finished product and exactly what the settings are set at, not have to wait to get to those finished settings. Good job. I used this model. Thanks a bunch. вниз = Down
внутрь = Inward
наружу = Outward
Длинн. = Long
коротк. = Short
влево = Left
влраво = Right
толст. = Thick
тонк. = Thin
Верхняя губа глубокая = Upper Lip Deep
Верхняя губа неглубокая = Upper Lip Shallow
Нижняя губа неглубокая = Lower Lip Shallow
Нижняя губа глубокая = Lower Lip Deep
She came out more or less than the video (updates changed a few things, especially the makeup) and I tweaked her just a bit much better!

anyone know how to fix the slider problem??... I started red dead on a different psn account since my main has the beta character but even on a fresh read dead game on the other psn account, my sliders still change when I'm about to take the picture and in free roam
@@PVentura not that I know of, rockstar are just dumb and don't care about fixing anything. I just got lucky when I made my 4th character from beta she doesn't look to bad.

Boujee Wipes in all honesty I’ve just been playing this game for the first time today but i can already see how the appearance thing is gonna be a bitch 💀they should really change the option and make you change it for free... I’ve already spent too much changing it 3 times-
@Boujee Wipes I gave my character more chin, I lowered the dot a little tiny bit, and also made her lips more pronounced, more bigger with minimal red tint on her lips because she looked like MJ if I didn't do it haha.

Is your character from the beta, you might be stuck with the beta creator and not the updated one.
@@xlunar4 i figured it out, the sliders were reseting themself when i went into mugshot and completing creation :)
@@vinnkuueagleman3000 how did u fix the issue with the resseting slidders? I do the same as in the video but in free roam the character turns to be like a smashed watermelon

Are you on the Xbox or the PC? I think the options are completely different on the PC.

Go to the barbershop you can get the “custom” hairs there. They have more hairstyles to pick from.

I was trying to do this character with some changes and when I finished I had 399.39$ I WAS SO UPSET!!!!!
Weird, I change hair colors but my eyebrow is still blonde
the eyebrow color is unchangeable outside of the character creation screen. It's ridiculous, if you first created your character as a blonde, her eyebrows will always be blond, unless you actually spend 10 gold bars/$400 and change it in the character creation screen.

I made this Character last night and she didn't come up nothing like it. She's got a pig's nose and features look quite different. I followed all the steps, including avoiding the potatoe face bug with the editor, but no luck. I guess a lot of things have changed with editing characters in RDO over the last 2 years. Nevermind, $400 wasted :)

If I choose a nose I have to choose:
Default nose
Style 1,2,3...
Same with the mouth and all that stuff
I used default and kinda looks like yours

What Eyes & Brow you used as a "base"? I assume it matters at least if you select furrowed or carefree. Not sure if neutral, wide and narrow are all the same but with different initial values.

Alright it's been almost a full year since this video was posted and I must admit. This character in RedDead Redemption 2 Online is still the best looking character I've seen so far for (PS4.) However Xbox and PC are 🤬ass holes! They're creation mode doesn't effect on how they look in "free realm" at all so that means they look pretty and stay pretty unlike PS4😂. In this video I watched it twice now and I never seen this hairdo before in my life. Where did they get it because it's not on my Barbers list of hairdos🤔. I have a female character to so trust me when I say I've "looked" I've "looked." Second if you're tired of your female characters looking pretty in creation mode and then looking like they got mauled by a cougar in free realm🙀. Then fear not for it's not your fault it's 😒Rockstars. That or you just suck at making pretty people just saiyan😅. Anyways I'll find out more about this awesome haircut this person has in this video but until then stay frosty out-laws🥶!
Alright I found the haircut 🤣 it's called "Long Loose Waves." It's a $45.00 cut ✂️ and it's been in RedDead Redemption Online since beta😱. So yeah there's your answer. I just hate how it looks awesome in this video but not in game 😡. Damn I can't wait to see these graphics updated on the PS5 🤔

By the way, is it true that PS4 RDO's characters look better both in Character Creation and Free-Roam than on PC? I need anyone that have similar experiences help testify and explain cuz I saw alot of RDO Female or Male creation sliders videos on UA-cam using the PS4 Version of RDO.

it was changed at the barber, that specific hair isn’t available in the character creation menu and only available in the barber shop
