I’ve sampled T-Rex too…just for the experience of it and had to scrub it off. It’s supposed to smell like death and destruction😳(confirmed, it does). Happy Friday 😘😘

I agree that the names of the Montale fragrances are ridiculous, bordering on stupid. 😂
I was trying to decide whether or not to sell the 3 Montale fragrances that I own. A funny thing happened…. I sprayed each one on consecutive days. That hideous synthetic note, that I detest in Montale and Mancera fragrances, was completely gone! They sat unused for a year. I’m glad I retested them.
Of course, I still don’t want to purchase from the brand. I don’t want to wait a year to wear them!
I haven’t tried any of the fragrances you talked about, but I do love hearing you talk about them. 😊😉😂

Hiiiii 🙋🏻♀️hand up for Deified 🤘🏻🖤…I LUUUURVE it, I’ve had my signed bottle for over a month now and it’s awesome on my skin, boss lady vibes but I truly love the leather and the bottle with the crystals and signature🖤🖤… yet I really dislike Amouage’s Overture🤷🏻♀️.
Bubble Forever ( I instantly got Ab Fab’s secretary Bubble in my head… 😂sooo funny and if I buy it it’ll remind me of her …the voice 😂🤣) on the other end of the spectrum sounds like a lovely girly treato for me… and Beast Love ( not the name) notes sound great too.
We finally got Glossier here and the dry down is so darned prrrrrrrrrrrrrty 🩷on my skin, work or nigh nigh scent for sure for me.

Hi Veronica! Oh, I joined the Kajal bandwagon in a big way this month...First, I got a decant of Äican, zipped through that ultra fast and bought a full bottle. I got two samples with my bottle, one of which was Almaz...OMG. Bought a full bottle of that, too 🙈. I absolutely adore the way this house interprets fruit. Unisex, not juvenile, and deep. Whereas Äican hits heavy on the passionfruit, a note that I love, Almaz goes in a raspberry direction. Scrumptious! I think it leans more feminine. And can we talk about those bottles. Yowza..🤓. I am so impressed with the quality of these fragrances!

Ok after seeing your glowing review on Äican I had to re-spray it on my hand as you were talking. I received my sample in the mail last night and sprayed it on before bed and ended up scrubbing it off… I was getting so much pine, like actual crushed pine needles or pine essential oil. It was hard for me to even pick up on any fruitiness. (could it have been a combination of the ginger, pepper vetiver and patchouli?) 😅😅 ..but now, maybe due to the power of suggestion, I'm getting a lot more of the fruitiness and a lot less of the pine tree. 😂 Looking forward to seeing how this one fares over the next week or so!

The Benzoin in Vanilla Bark was too much for me when I tested it.. So not a win for me.. BUT I have Amore Caffé on the way and I am very excited to test it! ☕ Have you tried anything from the house of Jorum Studio? I have really been loving a fragrance called Phloem... One of the most interesting Rhubarb fragrances on the market IMO! The comments on Fragrantica are all over the place sooo... Needless to say scroll through them if you want a good laugh Lol but I don't get any of the visceral reactions that people are talking about. 🤣 It's simply a unique take on a fruity summer perfume that has a salty sweetness & musk coming through in the base.
I have and love Healing Berry by Jorum and want to try a few others!

In the dry down it reminded me of Escapade Gourmand (which I don’t have), and the opening was beautiful on its own. So I am planning to pick up a bottle but am in no rush too. I recently revisited Celeste and fell in love, so it has to come home first, and after that Bountallenti and Panettone! Happy sniffing 😊

You would think that all latins love coffee, but I despise the smell, the taste, everything about it and I lived (my daughter just moved, recent empty nesters) with two mega coffee lovers who adore making affogatos at night either with Amaretto, khalua, Baileys, Godiva, any of those and me in the room so that the smell doesn't permeate the bedroom and my pajamas. I think the ONLY fragrance that has coffee that I own is Minuit Et Demi. I am dying for Isola Sol, but I am waiting for a good deal since I can use it year round, Another that I will wait for the hype to die down is Aican. I need to save for the new Byredo Mojave Ghost that I assume will be like 500 bucks and I just gave my OG bottle to my daughter. As for the Tommy Iommi, I am a huge Black Sabbath fan and the Monkey Special smells amazing on him. I already confirmed that this one is different so I am getting it for him, too because that one of the best men's fragrance after Ganymede (for me lol). I've never been a gourmand girlie, I don't go nuts every time a sugar, flan, cake, etc. fragrances comes out. I despise smelling like food, like I was at a restaurant or cooking. I do have some semi gourmands that I like. But yes, I am all gourmanded out too.
Girl, let me tell you! When you're smelling coffee all day every day, the last thing you want is to smell like... coffee. 🤣🤣🤣 I don't go crazy for every new gourmand either, but I will return to the ones I have this fall. Tony Iommi Deified is goooood!!!

I hold back on gourmands and vanillas. I don’t want to smell like I’ve spilled my dessert or drink on myself. I want more complexity and interest in my fragrances. I totally agree with you on the need for “edited and restrained” fragrances. I am kind of tired of “pickled sandalwoods” and overly sweetened vanilla fragrances.

Also, I ordered the Giardini Di Toscana discovery set and of the 12 fragrances the only that are Full Bottle worthy for me are BoraBora and Bianco Latte. Celeste which is another popular one to me smells like insect killer 😮.
I did not care for Celeste either. 😑 For your question, it depends. If you're a vanilla lover, go for Amore Caffe. If you're after a coffee vibe more than vanilla, go for Coffee Addict.

I’ve learned to revisit and have definitely back-pedaled on some fragrances especially if they’re something I’d consider seasonal.

Funny, I don’t think of Amore Caffe as being that gourmand or even a sweet overload. My biggest complaint is the performance but somehow this only seems to be my problem as nobody ever mentions it & some even saying the get great performance. Always strange when that happens.

Hey girl! I've been hearing so much about Amore Cafe and I've wanted to smell it.. but hearing the comparison to TK Coffee Addict which is one of my least favourite scents I've ever smelled.. hmmm... I was hoping AC would be more creamy and warm instead of so sharply sweet.. should I still get a sample though? 🧐 These hard decisions in life.. 🤣😅
I don’t think it’s like Coffee Addict-Amore is so much softer & I find it lightly sweet. Worth a try for sure as I’ve seen nobody dislike it thus far-I bought a full bottle! Performance for me isn’t great which is a disappointment.
Definitely get a sample of Amore Caffe. It scratches the same itch for me as Coffee Addict so I don't want another coffee fragrance BUT it's closer to Cafe Cabanel in terms of notes and feel than Coffee Addict, if that helps. 😊

At 6:00 many long-time Roja fans think the company may being bought out by a big corporation sometime soon.. and that Isola Sol is the "red flag" of that happening. The reviews of Isola Sol are not good at all, and many are saying it was a "cash grab" and that it could be the "begining of the end" for Roja parfums. 😮 I recently bought [Four] Roja parfums from various discounters in case that is true 😊🎉

I have my eye on Roja "Nuwa" 😮 If I get it soon then I most likely will slow way down on my fragrance purchases until the mid Fall /Black Friday. I tested Nuwa at Neiman Marcus last week.. it leans feminine but could be unisex. We'll See.. 🤔
I ended up pulling the trigger and getting NuWa last night from Maxaroma for 590 and No tax. ❤

@@VeronicaSays Yes the scent notes didn't match what i was smelling and i thought maybe it needs to sit for awhile and that didn't help, I chuck it in the garbage then quickly took it out as i paid about $180 for it dang i wish i could remember the name of that fragrance. If i remember the name i will let you know.

I was shocked at how polar opposite I felt about Pantheon A after hearing Demi rave & buying a decant. She doesn’t typically steer me wrong but this was a HARD NO.

I’m loving Aican and I’m really into Kajal fragrances right now. I had never tried them even though I’d seen lots of reviews on a couple. I got Kajal by Kajal and then I bought Aican. I’ve had Lamar and Dahab. I want to order Joorie for the Fall/Winter. I really like these fragrances. I gave my husband the sample of the new Tony Iommi Defied and oh my goodness, he did smell divine! I wasn’t crazy about the first one Monkey Special, but I love this one. Another great video!!! 😊 🫶🏻
