HAYAGAN MO O DIOS | UCCP Iligan Choristers

The UCCP CHORISTERS is a regular choir of UCCP Iligan and has been singing in the evening worship service every Sunday.
It just celebrated its 34th anniversary last Sunday of July this year.
Its repertoire varies from the classical, (has sung the whole libretto of Handel’ Messiah, the first part being the Lenten cantata and the second part, the Christmas cantata), traditional anthems, negro spirituals, contemporary songs, a Capella and patriotic songs.
It has strived to always offer its best to the Master.
The choir garnered first prize in the choir competition held on the celebration of the UCCP centennial Celebration of Protestantism held in the Folk Arts Theater, Manila in May, 1998.
The choir has done outreach music ministry all over Northern Mindanao in the first 20 years.
Initially there were 20 or more members but due to migration, transfer of residence and going ahead in the great beyond, our active members are down to 10-14 at the most.
Today due to the limitations of the pandemic the choir has gone virtual.
We, the members of the UCCP Choristers will continue serving Him thru the music ministry as long as we are able and still has music in our souls.
