I was born there a couple. Blocks from the sponge docks in 1948, used to fish off the anclote bridge for mullet. I always love my hometown Tarpon Springs!!!!
Your back yayyy! I'm moving to Tampa but i am doing my research now on what city to move to. But moving into an apartment first. I am a Floridian born and raised in Daytona beach. So I'm excited about my move, and thanks for sharing this city with me 😊
Hey, fellow Floridian here😎 Born in Rockledge, living in NSB , but moving to Tampa area in the next few months. Did you find a particular area you really like?
The sponge divers didn’t become shrimpers after the “crash.” They came to America to afford their children a better life. We are doctors, lawyers, and property owners. And you butchered “Kalymnos.” It sounds like you have “complex” feelings about Tarpon. You clearly have not learned any history about the docks from a “Greek.” We can tell 😳

The film, Below the 12 Mile Reef, tells you all you need to know about Tarpon Springs history
How expensive is it to live there? I like it there
Not as expensive as most of the county, but it all depends on what you are used to.
Thats for the riches buddy. Lots of mafia crimes.
