This is the version that plays and changes dynamicaly when going through Ashtray Maze. I had to search more than 5k files in order to find each piece and assemble it . I'm no profesionnal so there are certainly errors in the music editing, but I've tried my best. I've recently replayed the game so I wanted to make a version of this song which, like Jesse says, is awesome!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! First of all, I want to THANK YOU each and every one of you for your comments and constructive feedback. I really appreciate it!
Truth to be told, the lyrics may be somehow "scrambled" but this is from what I was hearing during the game so I tried to "copy/paste" it here but it may not sound that good.
What I've done is that by staying in certain "areas" for longer I could hear the extended parts of the song before triggering the next part of the song while moving.
Due to my very limited time, it is hard for me to edit another video. It will require to re-upload a new one actually since UA-cam does not let you edit the sound of an already uploaded video.
I will try to make a new one with edited lyrics to match more the original song and hopefuly sound better.

Things only Remedy Studios and Sam Lake could create. Bummer they hired untalented external writers for Alan Wake II, and they honestly ruined a lot of the game. I just hope Control II and Max Payne remakes will have none of this BS, but it is up to Sam Lake.
This is incredible! I'm pretty okay with music myself, could you tell me how you got these files out so I can try and assemble them on my own end as well? While the editing itself is a weakness of mine, I generally have a great sense for where different musical phrases should belong and such, and some rhymes are swapped in this version, which slightly detracts from the intensity. There are also some minor timing issues, but nothing too bad. Either way, this is amazing! I'd just love to have a crack at it myself, or even as a team project.

Thank you so much for this!! This is a new version/edit of this momentous song that I can appreciate now as a massive fan of it! I love all these additions from the "dynamic live mixing" that you can do inside the game, now present here. I only wish that my favorite "extended" part would be present here, I mean the guitar riffs at 3:58, they actually are repeated and that part lasts longer if you wait before passing through that door to the next zone (you can hear it at 5:47 in v=VxL2bMM-JL0). I'm such a fan of those aggressive riffs. But nonetheless this is awesome, I'm saving it, as well as the Re-Edited version that you shared! (wow, uploaded 2 days ago, I arrive here just in time it seems!) Stellar work parsing through all those files and using those programs to build this, truly commendable, this is very appreciated! ❤
Thank you very much for your kind comments. The truth is that with the every part splitted you can do almost unlimited combinations with the guitar parts since all parts literally can connect together. Unfortunatelly for me, I'm not that creative to begin with, meaning that my guide was the game itself. Still I'm pleased with the result and that's why I wanted to share. I will make another "extended" version of the new masterpiece from Old Gods of Asgard - Herald of Darkness (from Alan Wake II - it uses the same logic as the Ashtray Maze). The guitar solos there are truly unique. I will try to combine them as much as I can without make the song too "boring" and over-extended.

Oooh I'm glad that you're following up on Alan Wake 2 as well!! Truth is I just finished the game recently and then proceeded to check out all the stuff on the newly made channel of Old Gods of Asgard on UA-cam, and also to come back and see if there was new edits for Take Control around, and that's how I found your video. Will check your extended version of Herald of Darkness for sure!
