CUSTOM CAFE RACER SEAT COWL WOOD/FIBERGLASS - SUZUKI GS500 BUILD EP 9

One of the last things do for this build is the seat which i have been dreadinggg. I decided to go with wood for the cowl, inspired by @milezero.racers (if you haven't seen his channel go check it out he is a true artisan) and for the base of the seat, which are fiber glassed together. Conceptualizing this has been super difficult, because of the way my seat lock is set up. The seat will be made of a sep piece of fiber glass that will over lap the bottom piece of wood and foam/cusion will be wrapped around to hide everything except the frame and the cowl. But that will be in the next episode. Ive spent the past 3 weekend working on this believe it or not, so i may take a break next weekend, but expect the next video soon!

if you ever do the wooden seat again i recommended using angle grinder and a 80 grit flap disc. it will be much easier to shape the wood.
