Born Again Believers are free in Christ. Jesus set us free from the power of sin. Sin has no more power over our lives. Since we are no longer slaves to sin, why would we continue in sin? We have been set free from sin, not to sin, but to live out our new life in Christ. We continue in sin because we have not renewed our minds with the truth of God's Word. We don't know who we are in Christ, so we continue to live from our old life. We must renew our minds with God's Word. The Word tell us who we are. Once we know who we are, we can live like the new person. No man or woman can free us, spiritually. Only Jesus can free us spiritually. Only the blood of Jesus can cleanse us. We are cleansed, forgiven, and set free! Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!
