New Testament Believers receive salvation by faith. Our faith must be in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. We have a living hope because of what Jesus did. Our faith is precious. Having faith is much better than trying to keep the law to be saved. The Old Testament saints couldn't keep the law. They were always coming up short. That is why Jesus had to come. The law was given by Moses but grace came by Jesus. Jesus fulfilled the law for our salvation. He set us free. We are free to move forward in faith and grace. Don't reject grace for the law. Don't go back to works! You will never be saved. The prophets and saints in the Old Testament would love to experience this grace. Yes, we have a better Covenant, thanks to Jesus.
